Eddie Money

Loved the pitch perfect music , Eddies sincere, humble heart supporting his family in the band and their individual careers and our American troops with musical tribute and a program of Pets for Vets. The show was a delightful evening, beginning to end.

My fourth time seeing Eddie Money in the last five years. This was the first time he had his son and daughter's band backing him with his music. They are all around 20 to 24 years old. Not the usual seasoned musicians he's toured with in the past. As a musician myself, I was disappointed with the band backing him up. They were a bit sloppy and the backing vocals were too much. On some songs there were 4 people singing back up and stepping on each others parts. Eddie Money himself is great as always. Most people would not know the difference. There were a lot of hard core Eddie fans at the show. Everybody else I ran into enjoyed the show. I suspect the small venue didn't pay enough for him to hire his usual band. I still love Eddie Money, but I wouldn't want to go see him live with that young band backing him up again.
