Rated 5 out of 5 by AJJ0 Beautiful tour of the Grand Canyon!
It was a great experience with a flight of less than an hour. The Hover Dam, Lake Mead and the Grand Canyon in one flight. Pilots were professional.
We encountered light-to-moderate turbulence during the last 30 minutes of the flight. As a Private Pilot, this is normal for the time of year, temperatures and mountainous terrain for that location. High temperatures cause "thermals" which leads to turbulence. I would recommend scheduling a earlier flight when the temperatures are cooler, if a "bumpy" flight is an issue for you.
Overall, my wife and I enjoyed the tour!

SHUTTLE TO AND FROM AIR PORT - LATE AND UNCOMFORTABLE
AIR TOUR - SCHEDULED FOR 3PM, FINALLY GOT ON PLANE AT 430PM. PLANE WAS VERY TIGHT AND UNCOMFORTABLE. PILOT ACCIDENTLY SHUT OFF THE TOUR'S RECORDED GUIDE TO OUR HEAD SETS, SO WE HEARD NOTHING FOR 80% OF OUR TOUR. BARELY GOT TO SEE THE HOOVER DAM FOR ABOUT 5 SECONDS. ALL IN ALL WOULD NOT DO AGAIN. HELICOPTER MAY BE THE WAY TO GO NEXT TIME (IF I CAN AFFORD IT) : (

Rated 4 out of 5 by Eddiegcoconut Great tour!
The tour is a great experience, especially if you're on a limited schedule. Incredible views of the west rim of the Grand Canyon and really informative tour guide info during the flight. I'd do it again!

if you are there on business like I was and shorter on time but want to see it all this is a great option. Now keep in mind if you have ever been on a smaller prop plane that is what it is. You feel more of the bumps and drafts and it is a smaller plane. I am 6'3" so my knee was hitting the seat in front of me but I got some of the best photos of both the Grand Canyon and lake mead/Hoover dam. You don't get to go inside and see the mechanics of the dam but this is the best way to see the Grand Canyon hands down. All staff are really friendly and helpful.

The Air Tour was beyond my expectations, We had limited time, so this tour was perfect for us. I was able to see the beautiful, majesty Grand Canyon and the amazing Hoover Dam. I would recommend this tour for anyone who has limited time,

Not sure who I talked to in order to book this, but she was very helpful, professional, and knowledgable! We are definitely recommending this to anyone we know going to Las Vegas.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Calmil This tour was a horrible experience
My husband and I took this tour because we had recently toured the Grabd Canyon in a helicopter and had a wonderful experience. We thought it would be fun to do the same tour in a small plane. Big Mistake. The pilot did warn us that there was a little turbulence but it was much more than that. We had constant turbulence from the moment we took off and for the duration of the tour. Everyone in the plane all eight of us were miserable kept grabbing for the barf bags the entire flight. I have done a lot of traveling in my lifetime and have been on many small planes but never experienced so much turbulence that I actually got sick. It was so bumpy that we couldn't take pictures. My husband and I were so sick we spent the rest of our vacation in bed sick to our stomachs. I will never take a small plane tour again... Ever

Rated 3 out of 5 by notperfect53 Tour itself was very good...but
The actual flight over the Grand Canyon was good, but I thought we might go down a bit closer. The plane was fine, the pilot (Travis) was great! What we didn't like about this experience was the fact we were picked up first (at the Golden Nugget), then dropped off last. Had we known we would be subject to that much time in a shuttle bus, we would have driven to the airport in Boulder City ourselves...or just not taken the tour.
