Hoover Dam Raft Tour

Fun tour especially if your someone that likes learning things and being outside . The rafting part itself is about 3 hours the rest of the time is drive time to and from the tour . Only thing that was unnecessary was on the ride home the driver put a movie on about the Hoover dam which basically told us everything we just learned on the tour . It is warm outside so pack your sunscreen and bring a hat .

This was the highlight of our trip to Vegas - It was an amazing trip down the Colorado River. Very enjoyable! Lovely team of people - Marty was a pleasure from pickup to drop back at our Hotel (provided great insights into the History of the area).

Of the multiple excursions we’ve taken while visiting Vegas this is hands down the best- best tour, best organized, best value $, best guide (Russ), would do this one again!

We really enjoyed this excursion! Victor on land and Aiden on sea were both great tour guides - very knowledgeable and friendly and fun. Getting to go down to the bottom of the Hoover Dam and start the rafting tour from there was very cool. It was nice to be able to get out on the beaches at a couple of points too. We had a beautiful day on the Colorado River and it was really impactful learning the history and seeing a lot of the old infrastructure that the workers used back in the day along the river. Not to mention that the natural landscape on both the Arizona and Nevada sides was gorgeous! We lucked out having 26 people on a 50 person raft, so it was a relaxed and roomy ride. Very mild level of activity, so a good tour for all ages. Definitely bring a hat and some sunscreen as you will spend most of the rafting tour in direct sun. Your feet will get a little wet. If you opt for the with transportation add-on like we did, definitely call the number on their website (800) 455-3490 to confirm your pickup location. We were staying at Park MGM and our booking confirmation email said pickup location was both Park MGM and Excalibur in different areas and the Pickup Locations page of their website said Bellagio (pickup ended up being at Excalibur). Once we figured out where we were getting picked up though, the rest of the trip was very smooth and fun!
