Wayne Newton: Up Close and Personal

While the crowd was significantly later aged, and the performance more than cheesy, Wayne Newton is a Vegas icon and true showman. This was a truly iconic Vegas classic. It’s a small theater - no such thing as a bad seat.

Wayne is one of the biggest stars of all time. I saw him last year and had to go again this year--both with Meet and Greets ! He is so kind and appreciative of his fans. I will see him every time I go to Vegas. I absolutely adore him ! I gave him a lock of my hair like he did to Ellen in Vegas Vacation and he laughed so hard. I will treasure the hugs he gave me until I die !

Mr Las Vegas for a reason, at 84 his performance was exceptional! Best show I’ve seen in Vegas except for Shin Lin. Up close and personal is exactly what it is. Maybe a 100-seat theater and Wayne and his wife interact with the audience. A definite go to show.

An enjoyable evening. The show as great. Learned a lot about Wayne’s career over the years.

I was not a Wayne Newton fan, but he was the only one playing of the remaining icons (Vegas stars) in Las Vegas when I was there. I did know of him and some of his music but not a follower. I thought the show was wonderful, it was a very touching & sometimes had funny details of Wayne starting and expanding his musical career through the years. I would highly recommend the show to anyone.
