Willie Nelson

Although we were unhappy with our seats, it was worth it to see Willie Nelson. The first act (Christopher Jett??) was really good too. We were high up (supposedly the only seats left to purchase - but in fact there were a lot of empty seats)> Anyway, there is only one elevator and the wait to leave the theater was quite long.

I have been a fan of Willie for 45+ years. I just plain like the guy. I like his attitude, I like his ethic and most of all I like his music. My wife saw that he was playing while we were in Las Vegas and we bought the last two available tickets on-line. We were in the cheap seats, but it doesn't matter at the Venetian, great view and the monitors bring you up close and personal. Willie gave it his all. 90 full minutes of entertainment. His political and social commentary is contained in his songs, I appreciate that he focuses on his fans and doesn't use the stage to "preach". Amazing music, the underlying energy was refreshing. His sister is a star piano player and she really adds a lot to the show
