A Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee, Van Morrison is the quintessential music superstar. He is a Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, author, poet and multi-instrumentalist, who's widely considered one of the most important living artists of our time. More than 150 of his songs have been featured in major motion pictures.
In 1967 he forged his way as a solo artist with the release of the hit single "Brown Eyed Girl." His following album "Astral Weeks" released in 1968 was an eventual success, but it wasn't until 1970 when he released "Moondance" that Morrison established himself as a major solo artist. Throughout the 1970s he released more critically-acclaimed albums that resulted in Morrison being regarded as one of the most influential artists of the time.
We'll be singing "sha la la la" all the way to the concert, so join us as we sing our hearts out with this music legend.
