We enjoyed our trip to the Hoover Dam - an essential part of any trip to Vegas and an opportunity to take some great photos.

Mark was absolutely the best tour guide I have met. His passion for his job and football :) clearly shines through and the tour was very informative. Mark went above and beyond to make sure the tour was both comfortable and informative and I learned a lot during the process. As a history major I sometimes read to much in to my own press clippings when it comes to historical events but Mark was clearly the resident expert and made the experience great!
Will recommend and will be back to hit the canyon tours in a few months! Great job!

The Hover Dam is a must see experience. All man made without any technology.

Rated 1 out of 5 by cindi709 Worst tour ever due to a very incompetent guide.
Horrible, horrible experience. Totally wasted the entire day. First, where does it say you have to ride a shuttle bus to get on a larger bus?The day was ruined by the female guide on the bus. The male guide on site wasn't much better. The guide on the bus was inexcusable. She would not shut up. It was a constant stream of inaccuracies, unrelated dribble and inappropriate comments. We wasted at least 15 minutes when she couldn't seem to count the number of folks on the bus and was completely disorganized. She repeated the same information over and over and over and over and over . . . Her information was 99% false and talking about the "suggestive" (her actual words not accepted on this site) cards that get handed out on the strip was not remotely appropriate for the children on board. When we finally got to the site, she got off with the tickets and we had to go find her. Another 15 minutes of her blah, blah, blah before we could get our tickets away from her. The guide inside was only better in that he said very little. A ride up an elevator, a view of a couple of turbines, added to a miserable bus ride do not equal a pleasant experience. The ride back was so bad, we got off at the first stop and paid for a taxi ride to our hotel just to get away from her. Was looking forward to the tour and learning about the area. So very disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Slapjack Defibrillator warning
NOTE: Tour of the power plant not recommended if you have a defibrillator. This information was not included on the website but warning signs were posted at the dam. Tour company picked us up at our hotel in a comfortable bus. They were friendly and attentive to our needs (temperature on bus and bathroom breaks.) Guide was knowledgeable in Hoover Dam and Las Vegas area. Botanical garden and chocolate factory are at the same location. Good excursion overall.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CC60 Interesting and informative tour.
Good Tour. Like the guide. Need more time at the dam. Seemed to take a long time to get back to our drop off point, going back and forth on the freeway, I'm sure because of the traffic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kenny15 Great Tour, very personal experience, would definitely recommend
Pick up was a few minutes late but tour guide called to let us know so no worries there, tour was good on timing, didn't feel rushed, got to see quite a bit of the hoover dam and a quick stop at a tasty chocolate factory on the way back.
Tour guide was entertaining and I learned a bit of Vegas folklore which was fun.
Hope you all enjoy the tour as much as I did!
