Atomic Museum

I saw this museum advertised on Vegas.com and did not realize there was a Smithsonian collaboration. I was super excited to see how the museum would be organized and it did not disappoint. There are three/four exhibits with lots of interesting information that will definitely make your mind wander (my favorite part of a solid museum). There is also an awesome mini theatre there showing an awesome film! I highly recommend if you enjoy history, science, or anything revolved around preparing for the end of the world by atomic destruction.

Well organized. Clearly understandable information. Good interactive components throughout. Informative. Learned a few things. The explosion bunker experience was quite impressive.

So informational and intriguing displays. You get a real look into the details of the science and moves made during the different times of testing.

This was my first time at the Atomic Museum and i found it to be really well put together. I learned a lot taking the time to read on the Manhattan Project and the reasoning behind decisions made. Also creating elements and atom breakdowns really enhanced the Fallout exhibit at the end. Still, I came for the Fallout exhibit and was sad it was so small, but appreciated the little nods in the rest of the museum to put into perspective the mindset and references in the game and show. While a return visit might not happen, I look forward to future exhibits to return for.
