Question 1

What should I expect from The Book of Mormon in Las Vegas?

Accepted Answer

Expect a fast, funny Broadway musical that mixes sharp satire, big laughs, and genuinely heartfelt moments. The story follows two young missionaries sent to Uganda, where culture shock and unexpected friendships drive the comedy. It’s known for wildly catchy songs, irreverent humor, and the kind of high-energy pacing that keeps the audience engaged from start to finish.

Question 2

Where is The Book of Mormon playing in Las Vegas?

Accepted Answer

The Book of Mormon is playing at the Venetian Theatre inside The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. That puts you right on the Strip, with plenty of dining and pre-show options nearby.

Question 3

What time does The Book of Mormon start?

Accepted Answer

Showtimes are 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. It’s a good idea to double-check your selected performance time before heading to the theater so you arrive at the correct showing.

Question 4

How early should I get to The Book of Mormon?

Accepted Answer

Plan to arrive about 30 to 45 minutes before showtime. That gives you enough time to park, make your way through the resort, find the Venetian Theatre, and get settled before the performance begins.

Question 5

Is The Book of Mormon suitable for children?

Accepted Answer

The Book of Mormon is best for mature audiences. Even though it’s a musical comedy, the humor is sharp, irreverent, and very much aimed at adults and older teens rather than young children.

Question 6

Is The Book of Mormon more comedy or more traditional Broadway musical?

Accepted Answer

It’s very much both, but comedy is the engine that drives it. You get a full Broadway-style production with memorable songs and polished staging, but the tone leans heavily into clever satire, outrageous jokes, and nonstop laughs.

Question 7

Where can I park in Las Vegas for The Book of Mormon?

Accepted Answer

The easiest parking option is at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, where the theater is located. Once you’re parked, give yourself extra time to walk through the resort to the Venetian Theatre, especially on busy weekends or convention days.

Question 8

Can I buy food and drinks before The Book of Mormon?

Accepted Answer

Yes. At a venue like this, it’s easy to grab drinks or light concessions before the show, and The Venetian also has plenty of restaurants and bars nearby if you want a full meal first. For the smoothest experience, plan dinner before you head into the theater rather than expecting a full meal inside the auditorium.
