Question 1

What should I expect at Penn & Teller in Las Vegas?

Accepted Answer

Expect a smart, offbeat mix of comedy and magic that plays with the usual rules of illusion. Penn handles the talking with sharp, funny commentary while Teller stays mostly silent and drives much of the visual action. The show blends classic sleight of hand with inventive, mind-bending routines, including moments where the duo lets you in on part of the trick while still keeping plenty of mystery.

Question 2

How long is the Penn & Teller show?

Accepted Answer

Penn & Teller runs 90 minutes. It is a full evening show without feeling overly long, so it fits easily into dinner-and-show plans.

Question 3

What time does Penn & Teller start?

Accepted Answer

Penn & Teller begins at 8:00 p.m. It is a good idea to be in your seat before showtime so you can settle in and avoid missing the opening moments.

Question 4

How early should I arrive for Penn & Teller?

Accepted Answer

Plan to arrive about 30 to 45 minutes early. That gives you enough time for parking, finding the Penn & Teller Theater at the Rio, and getting through security screening before the show starts.

Question 5

Where is Penn & Teller playing in Las Vegas?

Accepted Answer

Penn & Teller performs at the Penn & Teller Theater in the Masquerade Tower at Rio Hotel & Casino. If you're heading there from elsewhere on the Strip, give yourself a little extra travel time since the Rio sits just off-Strip.

Question 6

Is Penn & Teller suitable for children?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Penn & Teller is open to guests ages 5 and up. That makes it a strong pick for families with school-age kids, though parents should know the show has an edgy tone and uses smoke, haze, strobing lights, and other stage effects.

Question 7

Where can I park in Las Vegas for Penn & Teller?

Accepted Answer

The easiest option is parking at Rio Hotel & Casino and walking into the Masquerade Tower for the theater. If you're driving in from another resort, arriving a bit early makes things smoother so you have time to park, get inside, and find your way to the venue.

Question 8

Can I buy food and drinks before Penn & Teller?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can grab drinks before the show, and it's common to eat at the property beforehand as well. For a theater show like this, think pre-show cocktails and casual dining nearby rather than a full meal inside the auditorium.

Are there any security or entry rules for Penn & Teller?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All guests and their belongings are subject to security screening before entry. Flash photography, cameras, audio recording, video recording, and weapons of any kind are prohibited.

Question 10

Does Penn & Teller use special effects during the show?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The production uses smoke, haze, strobing lights, and other stage effects. If anyone in your group is sensitive to lighting effects or theatrical atmosphere, that is worth keeping in mind before you go.
