Rated 3 out of 5 by LVnewbie It was a decent tour
It did as advertised, got us to the Hoover Dam and back. I had taken a Grand Canyon tour the day before, and this was not as nice by far. The stop at the chocolate factory was odd. They are essentially closed, so you go into their tent and purchase chocolate.... that's it. Kind of like stopping at a store. The cactus garden was pretty. Our guide was windy and stories got LONNNNG! Could not recommend any places on strip to eat/;play. kept saying "we don't go there if we live here" Very odd tour. I will stick with the company I did the GC tour with for sure.

We really enjoyed the tour to Hoover Dam . This is a must see tour very interesting. Could of done without the tour of the candy and Cactus that to me was a waste of time. Need to fill in with something else better.

This tour was well worth the money. Our tour guide was Jeannie (or Jennie) don't remember. She was very personable and knowledgable. I liked her humor. It was very hot the day we went, so we could have done without the Cactus garden tour but I did enjoy it. Chocolate tour was just a tent outside the factory as they are under construction right now. Really enjoyed the tour through the Dam.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Amy8694 Good tour and visit to Hoover Dam
I feel that I should have been informed that the chocolate factory was closed and been offered a reduced price. Stopping to see the cacti and a chocolate store was not worth the stop. I can buy chocolate anywhere, I don't need to go to a closed factory that has a small store set up while it's undergoing construction.
The tour guide was friendly and talkative -- at times too talkative. But overall, I really enjoyed this tour.

We had a lot of fun. I talked to a Vegis.com rep before the trip and she was a lot of help. Vonnell was the best, You would have thought I was her only Customer. I know that's not true.

Rated 3 out of 5 by RH01 Dam good, ride to and from....not so much.
The tour it's self and the content was great. This is actually the second time we've done this tour. Now, the bus was nice but very warm and the a/c did not keep up well. We only had 8 people on the bus and the bus probably held 25 or 30. We had a new driver. Our guide Memel I believe was her name, was very hard on the driver and critical of his route. Since he was new I feel the guide should have paid strict attention to where we were so she could have explained to him how to go. Instead she paid no attention and then would realize we were not going in a direction or way she wanted to go and then she jumped all over the driver (Marty). It was very frustrating and annoying. I felt very sorry for Marty because he was new and she should not have talked to him the way she did in front of customers. He did a very good job. Her being so critical of our route, she should have devoted time directing him or made the preperations before hand. Honestly I was never so glad to get off a bus.

The tour started off a bit slow with mic problems on the bus and it had to be replaced, but after that the trip from the Vegas Strip to the Dam was comfortable. The tour drove us through Boulder City which was beautiful and once we arrived our tickets were given to us and we had two hours to do as we pleased. There was a little diner and gift shop where we ate lunch on our own and could buy gifts. Caution that if you are going in July the temperatures are high. It was 120 when we did the tour. Over all it was a great time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mesofixit It is a ride on the tour bus.
Tour bus rides are boring. Our guide was good. Would probably rent a car next time.
The guide asked if we had any questions questions, my response was "what is the speed of an unladen swallow?"
It flew right over her head.
