Rated 5 out of 5 by benSUN61 Mike Tyson: The Man
I have always been a fan of Mr Tyson, so I just HAD to go see him in this one man show. He Did. Not. Disappoint! I knew very little about him, other than his pigeons, and his street fighting history, but during the show, he shared so much more about his life, from behind the scenes that I never knew! My respect for him grew beyond what it was before! He was truly a class man, and the meet and greet was truly the cherry on top of the evening. Unlike other meet and greets I have participated in, he actually acknowledged my presence, and made it feel like he truly wanted to be there with us all. I would definitely go watch him again! My lowly high school education level has limited my words to truly describe how I felt, being able to do this meet and greet with Mr. Tyson! I truly thank him from the bottom of my heart for making himself available in this manner to me and his fans! Thank You!

Rated 3 out of 5 by isslandboy Couldn't hear half the time, obscene prices on drinks
They sound quality was not great, and Tyson speech is a bit hard to understand. Turning the volume up would have certainly helped. Drinks were very expensive, even for Vegas!

by Maoodhah Great experience
Tyson is a legend in and recently out of the ring. His life story is amazing. He details some periods of his life in a very funny way. Very nice and respectful person. As a fan, I wish him a great success in his new career and for his amazig show.
We had the chance to shake hand with him and took a single photo but I'd recommend to spend more time than just a snapshot.

The hotel/casino/floor/player's club/coctail /ticketing staff were rude and gave the WORST customer service! Tyson was amazing! It's unfortunate that he is performing at such an unsatisfactory establishment. I'd definitely NOT visit the MGM again, and tell others(friends, family and coworkers) about my unfortunate experience so that there might be changes. I did speak to 3 members of MGM management about my experiences as they occured, btw.

good to see another side of the champ, a soft cuddly bear, and not like the media monster of his fighting days!

Rated 2 out of 5 by ScarletFever Cool to see Tyson, but a letdown
I will say this, I don't totally regret going to this show. I got to see Tyson, he was entertaining and I learned a few wild facts from his life I didn't know before.
Now, when we got to the club we were welcomed, had our photo taken (of course that they wanted to sell after the show), and sat down to somewhat slow service. Our seat was a cramped booth (be careful if you order tickets for a group of 4) that unfortunately had a blocked view of at least 30% of the right side of the stage due to a large pillar in the middle of the room. We mentioned this to a manager, he assured us we'd be able to see the show (we saw 70% of the show). We also noticed an empty booth next to us that we could have moved to, but we weren't allowed and then we saw later an employee sat there! to watch the show.
Did I mention we paid for the 'better view' seats? It wasn't even the lowest category. The only one above this grade were the $250/ea VIP tickets.
Mike's not the easiest to understand and being on the back wall behind a pillar wasn't the greatest. The 3 folks I talked into seeing this with me gave me grief all night.
So, there you have it. I've seen several Vegas shows, this is the only lemon of the bunch. I had higher expectations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Paul55 Great show, great story well told
Mike Tyson was, as any fighter is brave to get in the ring and make a career out of boxing. In this new career he tells an honest, self deprecating tale of rags to riches to rags again.. A fascinating insight into a troubled guy who like us all has many weaknesses but he isn't afraid to admit his faults. He comes across as humble and really trying to make a new start for himself and his family. Sometimes funny, and equally sad in parts, he bares his soul for all to see in a one man show which pulls no punches! I did the meet and greet, which was brief but great to meet him and he was friendly. Highly recommended, especially for boxing fans.

A must for any Mike Tyson fan, had us laughing out loud from the start with his stories & antics, was a great way of starting off our night.
