A first class concert and a quarter mile of food less than 3 hours after arriving in Vegas for our honeymoon. This was the second gospel brunch we attended (other was in Atlantic City) but this was way better in so many ways. Got our week off to a rousing start!

Rated 5 out of 5 by WESinVEGAS BEST BREAKFAST IN TOWN!
The House of Blues KNOWS breakfast!!! LOVED everything on the menu! I was expecting a little more traditional gospel sound and not so much screaming and what not! There were a few songs that were done right.
Still, I would recommend for the food alone!

Rated 1 out of 5 by ButtercupAZ Sorely disappointed!!!
The headline Kirk Franklin presents and the description for this event is very misleading. My expectation was that Kirk Franklin would be performing live with local talent as opening performances. I was very disappointed when I realized that was not the case. The local artists were average. There was too much talking by the performers and not enough singing. Time spent on other things such as recognizing audience members with birthdays, anniversaries, etc. should have been spent on good, soulful gospel music. The food selection for the brunch buffet was good, the service was excellent but overall my experience at this event was not rewarding and certainly not worth the ticket price. After the show, there were others in attendance who expressed the same disbelief that Kirk Franklin did not perform. If you are going to use Kirk Franklin's name to sell tickets for this event, it should be expressly state that Kirk Franklin will NOT be performing. I would not recommend this event.

The food was great and the show was excellent! I saw Kirk Franklin in Maryland at the EvangelineTemple before I left and this show was so much better.

Rated 3 out of 5 by nelsone OK, but not great
The show was alright, but would have liked to hear more old gospel songs. Musicians were good. The food wasn't bad, but nothing outstanding. Our seating was terrible; pushed up against a wall in the center of an 8-person table, so that everyone else had to get up and you had to squeeze by them every time you needed to get out. Two tables were pushed together and were different heights, so you had to be careful where you set your glass. Wouldn't do it again.
