Hope your tastebuds have packed some sunscreen and boat shoes because they're about to be swept away to the shores of southern Italy. Clearly, we're joking (tastebuds can't actually make travel plans), but Osteria Costa is as close as you'll get to the sandy shores of the Mediterranean without actually being there.

If we had to describe Osteria Costa in three words, we'd use "fresh, authentic, freakin' delicious." Technically, that's four words, but the handmade pastas are seriously tasty! Like, if this stuff was any fresher, we'd have to start searching for the little Italian nana they're obviously hiding. Back to the grub, we have a love affair with anything seafood, so obviously the shrimp spaghetti is straight fire. But don't let our affection for the aquatic take away from the fusilli, agnolotti or bucatini cacao e pepe (not sure why, but our hands are moving a lot while pronouncing these).

Are you a pizza person? Well, get out of town (and then come back), because these wood-fired flatbreads will have you pulling a Walter White and throwing any other so-called "flatbread" on the roof. And boy do they have variety in abundance. Meats, veggies, honey, 'shrooms and more are used to make bomb.com margherita, salsiccia and piccante pies.

And it wouldn't be a topnotch joint without some thirst quenching drinks. The handcrafted sangria alone, is enough to keep you singing into the wee hours of the night. Equally impressive though, is the wine collection. This thing could keep Robert Baratheon happy. Whites, reds, sparkling, you name it, it's there.

So whatta ya' say? How about you send your tastebuds on the trip of a lifetime? Something tells us that if you ask nicely, they'll take pics.
