Bocho Sushi, located in the John E. Carson Hotel downtown, comes from the owner of the popular Le Thai restaurant in downtown Las Vegas. Bocho, which is the Japanese word for "knife," is a traditional Japanese restaurant with an 18-seat sushi bar serving fresh sashimi and rolls.
Start out with an appetizer like edamame, seaweed salad, calamari skewers or garlic shishito peppers. For lunch, try one of Bocho's lunch boxes, which come with miso soup, tempura, Sunomono salad, rice and a fountain drink. The Shunga Box features a choice of salmon, black cod or saba.
Bocho serves a variety of specialty rolls including a Philadelphia roll, crunch roll, baked salmon roll and the Las Vegas Roll with unagi, cream cheese, avocado and crab, deep fried.
Other entrees include yellowtail ceviche, beef tataki, tuna poki and salmon kama.
