Chef Brian Massie serves carefully crafted house-made American fare at Hearthstone using simple, seasonal and sustainable ingredients.
The restaurant features two wood-burning ovens where dishes are roasted daily.
Guests can start with snacks like truffle popcorn and deviled eggs and move on to salads including a chickpea salad with roasted peppers, provolone, olives and a red wine mustard vinaigrette.
There are a variety of plates for sharing such as roasted artichokes, a delicious steak tartare, stuffed dates, charred octopus and meatballs. Be sure to try one of the "jars and toast" like the FG&J, a foie gras mousse with Virginia peanuts and house-made jelly.
Entrees include salt-roasted branzino, rotisserie chicken, poached Alaskan salmon and a cast iron New York sirloin. Sides are available to accompany the main dishes including grilled broccoli, lobster polenta and roasted squash.
Hearthstone also has an impressive wine list. Take a glass onto the large outdoor patio and enjoy.
