For the price you really can't complain too much. My biggest and foremost issue with the hotel and Vegas.com is that they both failed to mention on their website was the obscene amount of security deposit. I came there on a very strict budget. It was my birthday and decided to actually do something this year, I achieved this in under $300 which includes everything but the deposit, which I'm still waiting for it to be returned to my account. The second issue was that the check-in time wasn't made available to me when and after I booked the room, I arrived 3 hours early...

I stayed 6 days, and paid for a roll away bed for a second bed. Toilet tank leaked for 6 days, bathroom floor was continuously flooded, telephone was not repaired, roll away bed linens were never made or replaced. I was charged for 4 long distance phone calls on the phone which did not work (the desk clerk was willing to remove the charges). Mattresses sagged. Walls were paper thin, the dogs in the next room yapped every time there was a noise in the hotel.

Rated 1 out of 5 by HD1269 Horrible Stay, Skip this location
First off check-in took over an hour. The line was that long. Not from people trying to check in, but from people checking out due to NO HOT WATER. People were refusing to pay the hotel. Only reason we ended up staying here is that everywhere was booked due to two large conferences in town. First night there, we could hear everything outside. There is no good weather stripping on the door, so you could see a gap from under the door to outside. The windows were 1pane, so all night long I could hear everyone walking/talking. Toilet had leak and tank would refill every 15-20 mins Last straw was cockroach near the bed. We checked out and they refunded the hotel fee of $7.99 per night that's it. No apologies from staff nothing. Will NEVER stay in such a place again. Will never stay another Days Inn after staying here.

Rated 3 out of 5 by biotech3 Off strip
This property is off the strip but has a nice pool. A 24 hour Denny's is good as the only other choices close by are fast food establishments. It is a hike to get to the strip or I would suggest a 24 hour RTC bus pass for $5. Then it is only one bus stop to the strip and with a connection to the "Deuce" it is easy to get anywhere on the strip with ease.

Rated 3 out of 5 by lgdsteve Very surprising gem.
I booked a room here at a last minute change to my flight itinerary. I ended up flying into Vegas very late the night before and needed a very inexpensive room near the airport. The location was decent, just over I-15 from the strip and airport but I was expecting the worst as far as room cleanliness and overall upkeep. After arriving by cab, and the driver not knowing where the entrance was, I was somewhat surprised to see that the hotel was more of a two story motel. After driving around the property we found the registration desk and checked in. The desk clerk informed us that the closest rooms were on the second floor and there was no elevator, my expectations sank as low as any hotel I've stayed at in recent memory.
However, upon entering the room I was absolutely shocked. The room was pretty small but completely refurbished and seemed very clean. There was a flat screen TV and new furniture. The bed was very comfortable and the A/C unit worked very well.
In the morning I awoke to find that my room overlooked the pool and the overall condition of the hotel grounds (and pool) was very good. We checked out and I was surprised to find a Denny's was located on the other side of the (small) casino floor and we had a free breakfast menu for hotel guests. Drinks were not included however, but with three meals to choose from, it was an exceptional deal. The food was good and the service was great. Later this week we returned for breakfast and cannot be compared to breakfast on the strip. The Denny's on the strip is always packed and the prices are a little elevated. The resort buffets usually cost upwards of $15 per person just for breakfast and depending on when some of the platters are put out, you might end up with some old items that aren't quite fresh.
Denny's at Wild Wild West has reasonable prices, good food with nice sized portions, great service, and very fast. This is truly a hidden gem off strip.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Quetzal Room was good with a great rate. Location within the coomplex was not.
I didn't care for the location of the room within the complex and next time I will know better. They stored two rolling carts of trash right outside my door all night and into the next day. I was going to mention this to the clerk at check-out but he didn't care or bother to ask me how the stay was - he was more interested in butting into a conversation another clerk was having with a customer than ensuring I had a pleasant stay. I was also in a hurry for an appointment. Otherwise, still a clean place to stay.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Chrissy1972 Good place to stay!
Good place to stay. The beds were comfortable. The only problem I had with my stay was that they didn't make the beds everyday and they didn't vaccum the floors. Everything thing else was great. We needed an extra blanket and pillow and they were very quick with getting the items to me.
