The location was beautiful. Honestly, location was the best part of this experience. I'm hoping it was the time of year we were there that impacted all the other amenities. The casino looked deserted, never any lights on, no people going in and out, etc, based on that we never even attempted to go there. In the little "town" all of the shops were closed. The restaurants were open and moderately high priced for the time of year. The staff was very courteous and nice, but not helpful at all due to booking through Vegas.com. The room was above average, but not top of the line. Be prepared to pay exorbitant prices for coffee and water in your room. My advise, bring your own. Also, the shower was awful, poor water pressure and a horrible shower head. The pool area was closed the entire time we were there due to an emergency. It was to cold for swimming, but perfect for the hot tub. I expected more given the description.

What a miserable experience. We had bad traffic getting there so late arrival not the resorts fault. Prior to booking I called about boat parking and was told they can accommodate so we cld put boat on lake mead. The Aston does not have boat parking you have to go through the Hilton. Which Hilton had none available once I got there so we had to park about a half mile from the room which on other side of resort across the lake. Room was spacious but outdated old tube TVs and very small fridge with no ice. Asked front desk for an ice bucket they didn't have but said I could walk to front for a bag again across the lake! 4 people booked for the room 3 pillows. Room was not clean. No water taxi from the Luna where we stayed. Not a good experience at all!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rob50 Great location away from busy strip
The hotel was nice, a little dated with the furnishings. Beautiful setting in the hills and on Las Vegas lake! The ceiling tiles under the breezeway across the lake really need to be removed and something better put up! Some of the trash containers on the breezeway were overflowing with trash! We enjoyed our stay there!

Rated 5 out of 5 by John H. It is off away from the strip. Not some place you would want to stay if it is your first time out to Vegas. Since we know the Las Vegas area quite well, we enjoyed being away from the tourist spots. It is a very nice place to relax, although far from everything else. Once the casino opens, it should attract more business.. Very good value for the price paid. It is off away from the Strip.
