Located at the center of the Strip, this non-gaming luxury hotel features deluxe accommodations and amenities for first-class travelers.
High-end tranquility meets sleek leisure, superior service, fit for high-end lifestyles
What we love
While many hotels on the Strip have a five-star rating, the Mandarin Oriental not only received a five-star rating in every hospitality category possible, but the property actually lives up to the prestigious ranking. Let’s put it this way, if you had a run in your pantyhose, not only would an attendant delicately point it out to you, they would also go out of their way to promptly supply you with a new pair.
We love all of the simple details that were put into making a stay or a visit to the hotel the most enjoyable experience possible. From scented, moist towels to freshen your hands in the restrooms to fresh flowers in the hotel rooms, guests do not feel as though they are being treated like wild college kids on spring break in child-proof rooms, they feel as though they are at home… in a palace.
Expect the satisfaction that comes from any service offered in the Mandarin Oriental’s indulgent spa. With a full menu of a range of treatments, the deeply relaxing spa offers amenities and services such as body scrubs and massages, Pilates and yoga facilities, and a high-end beauty salon among other offerings.
Good to know
When you first walk in to the Mandarin Oriental, you will enter an elevator lobby. Don’t worry, you’re in the right spot. The main lobby, which is located on the 23rd floor, is just a short elevator ride away. You will see why they decided to set up the lobby on this floor when you catch your first glimpse of the stunning cityscape backdrop.
The hotel features 392 rooms and suites and while they are on the pricier side of hotel rooms on the Strip, the quality of the rooms and the service provided by the hotel’s employees is definitely worth the extra money.
Everything that you can imagine is provided for you in this luxury hotel except for gaming. However, a huge perk of this is the fact that we love the more relaxed atmosphere in the main areas at any given time and we also don’t have to worry about the cloud of smoke that lingers in every casino.
For a sophisticated afternoon, the Mandarin Oriental offers a high tea daily from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the 23rd floor for a relaxing take on an afternoon in Vegas.
If you can afford it, we love the Mandarin Suite for an unimaginably indulgent stay complete with a stand-alone tub that is perched among ceiling to floor windows for a unique soak that boasts a grand view of the glowing Las Vegas lights. However, if that suite is booked, go for the next best thing, which is the Apex Suite that features similarly beautiful amenities but different views.
As a part of City Center with an overhead bridge that connects to the shopping mecca that is Crystals, guests are located within walking distance to various other entertainment experiences that are not offered in the hotel.
