This is our 3rd stay at the hotel because we enjoy the location to the strip you are on it without being on it. This trip however we found the hotel had become quite run down especially the rooms and elevators. Our room had a well worn bed that sagged badly, the bathroom was terrible, sinks did not drain, the tub needed to be caulked and cleaned and the light flickered if it even turned on. In the main room the rug was very worn, and the smoke detector was hanging off the wal not to mention the coffee machine still contained the last guests coffee. Everything needed to be repaired and refreshed. Casual should not mean unkept. However saying that we were credited some of the resort fees and the clerk did seem sympathic. Unfortunately I think we will be staying elsewhere next time and just stopping by for wings

Room had a little trash in it and the shower was horrible. Bed was comfortable. Staff very nice. It is a 90's place still. Upgrades would be nice but that would raise the price. Great location. Go for it if you are on a budget.

I know that this is an old hotel, but come on fix the basic stuff. The A/C made to much noise. It's a really old unit. The room carpet was old and dirty, and rust on the bathroom door frame. The TV is really old as well. The wood frame under sink is falling. Vegas.com didn't say anything about the pool area being torn up. There was only dirt where the pool should be. Elevators make a lot of noise and are missing buttons.

Our experience at the hotel was all around a horrible time. From the time we checked in to the time we left we had nothing but problems and our complaints simply fell on deaf ears.
Upon entering the lobby you are greeted by the dirtiest casino floor I think I have ever seen. The music was on so loud by the front desk I could not hear anything that the front desk lady was saying. The elevators up to the rooms were filthy and the hallway for the floor we were staying in reeked of cigarettes even though we were staying in the non-smoking section and far away from the casino. When we arrived in our first room, it was freezing cold! Our trip was in January and we checked in around 11pm so the temperature outside was about 34 degrees and not much warmer in the room. Upon trying to turn on the ancient heater in the corner, covered in a layer of sticky dust that you know had not been wiped down in ages, we discovered that no matter what temperature or setting it was on it only blew out freezing air. When trying to put our valuables in the room safe, the safe would not open because the batteries were dead and the television picture would only stay on for a few seconds before the cable would flip out. We called the front desk and they said they would send someone up to look at the heater right away. While we were waiting for maintenance I got a good look at the rest of the room, the bathroom was dirty, the carpet was so worn in high traffic areas that there was almost no carpet left and the beds had no comforter-just a sheet, blanket and then a sheet on top of that.
After waiting in a freezing room for 30 minutes on a maintenance worker who never showed up, we went down to the front desk and complained. The front desk girl never apologized, or said anything really (it seemed as though she was use to these types of complaints) and just reassigned us to a new room. When we reached the hallway to this new room, the entire floor smelled like mold, worse than the cigarette smell of the prior hallway. The room we got was in better condition and all the previously faulty issues with our room now worked. Only in this room our phone didn't work and shortly after getting into this safe it's battery died as well. Calling the front desk from our cell phone they told us that they would send maintenance down to fix our phone. In the mean time we ordered room service since we had to wait for maintenance and we were all starving. Maintenance finally showed the first time, very rude, didn't speak to us and acted like we were a burden-but fixed the phone. We got our room service, the food quality was terrible, cold, small portions, very expensive. When we went to call room service to pick up our trays the phone was broken again! We were so frustrated.
The final straw which broke the camel's back however was the morning we were leaving. At 6:30am an alarm goes off in our room and we have no idea what is going on. It was not the fire alarm, but a screeching alarm from an intercom system followed by a voice saying that "an alarm in the building has been triggered, please stand by" and this alarm continued to go off for 20 minutes before it just shut off randomly. We had no idea what we were supposed to be doing, the elevators were all shut off and no one explained to us what was going on or what had happened after it was over.
At first I thought that maybe we just hit a little bad luck on this trip, but the way the staff reacted to our complaints it seemed that this kind of thing happens all the time. I would say you get what you pay for, but we have stayed in different hotels on the strip at very similar prices and never had a single issue before. I was very disappointed with the condition of the building and the quality of customer service we received and you can bet we are never going back to this hotel.

Rated 1 out of 5 by VegasCES2016 Horrible
The windows had hard water stains on them, so even though it could have been a good view we didn't want to open the blinds. Shower didn't work well, leaked everywhere and made a wired buzzing noise when it was on. Air conditioner was a wall unit that didn't get cool enough and was very stuffy in the room, also VERY LOUD. Floor was gross and very dirty. Door didn't close all the way unless pushed very hard. I would never stay in this room again. Very disappointed.
