Rated 3 out of 5 by WhatsInTheName Average hotel away from main strip. Reluctant service.. no amenities
Away from main strip. Their casino is a joke.
Very rude staff all around.
Room was average but clean.
You have to pay for everything (even water and TV).
Towels provided were dirty (marks and hair in it)..
Dont use their soap / shampoo.. you will repent it.
No shuttles, helpdesk is useless... information booklets at the reception were used copies (some coupons / pages were missing and most of it had stains / liquid marks... not sure from what)
Only good part was the restaurants inside eastside cannery.. They are all good.
Snaps restaurant was impressive in terms of cost and quality. Little slow service but we could do with that.

It is alright but it is soooooo far away from strip. If you want to enjoy your trip, you must stay somewhere close to strip. You can find room with comparable prices close to strip; besides if you stay close to strip you don't need to rent a car so you can save chunk of money there. It was my first trip to vegas so I did not know ...
Don't recommend it. Stay somewhere close to strip if you like to enjoy your vacation!

Rated 4 out of 5 by CubFan It served my purposes
I've seen the Strip. Downtown too noisy. Was in town one night on the way through. Didn't gamble. I needed a decent room to watch the Cubs beat the Pirates at a decent price. Eastside Cannery fit the bill. Also, convenient to local Walmart and similar shops.

Rated 2 out of 5 by formerguest99 Great rooms - worn and smoky casino
Over the years, I've stayed at Eastside Cannery several times. And - over the years it appears to me that the owners of the Eastside Cannery have let the hotel gradually deteriorate. The casino's interior wreaks of cigarette smoke, the restaurants are grubby and the carpets are dirty and worn.
The hotel's room are clean and nice - but they need to buy new linen. The sheets had holes in them. They also need to update their television system. It's horrible. The picture is quality is poor and the menu is horrible.
The best part of my last visit was the front desk check-in crew. They helped me switch rooms.
Overall, I'd say this hotel has seen better days and it appears this part of Las Vegas is in decline. Do yourself a favor and stay in a better part of Vegas in a nicer hotel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Oldie1958 Good Value on Boulder Highway
The Eastside Cannery represents great value for money if you have a car and don't mind staying out on Boulder Highway; about seven miles from The Strip. The rooms are well appointed and have an actual fridge rather than a rip-off mini-bar. The restaurants are quite good though the buffet & gift shop open late and close early by Vegas standards. The casino is small but is light & clean with everything you need. Best of all, almost unheard of for Vegas, there is no resort fee!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Visitor1432 Only if the customer service is nice
The hotel isn't too bad compare to the price you pay for. But the customer service is pretty bad (the front desk). This is something they can manage to enhance but I guess they're trying to par with the price?
