The Eastside Cannery Hotel Casino was actually nicer than we expected! Parking was easy and close to hotel registration area. No line was able to check right in quick and easy, nice friendly staff.
Liked the elevator needs a room key to use, helps feel safer knowing not just anyone can hitch a ride up to the rooms.
The room was spacious, loved having a fridge, the bathtub was deep and good for soaking if you like that.
The floor to ceiling windows are nice. We had no issues with the cleanliness, everything worked perfect. The shower, toilet, tv, no problems.
Well the only problem we had was we should have stayed longer!!! :)
The casino didn't break us, we had lots of play and had the best luck there than other casinos we've played at.
Drink servers came around often. The casino was smoky but that's expected. I did have to cash out because of the chain smoker near by.
I am telling all my friends how nice it was, and they should stay there.
NO RESORT FEE!!!
The location is away from the strip but not too far, and so much shopping around there. We drove to Henderson and that didn't take long at all.
Cant wait to go back and stay at the Eastside Cannery, hopefully it will be as fun as it was this time!

The internet connection worked well and consistently, which has been a nagging problem at many hotels recently patronized. The table, seating and lighting were also better than most other properties with adequate, readily-available outlets for computing devices. The beds were comfortable and contained linens in good repair, although the pillows were skimpy. HOWEVER, the room card keys were testy and hard to use for both the room and the elevator. The HVAC controls took a degree in electrical engineering to figure out. Noise was a BIG problem from other rooms, the loud closing mechanisms on the room doors slams the doors shut, other guests bellowing down the hallways at all hours of the day and night and rooftop A/C units. It took three tries to find a satisfactory room. The hot water temperature was only slightly more than warm, making showering and shaving a real problem. Rooms are given insufficient towel supplies. The television choices were very poor and the remote recalcitrant; when buttons were pushed, they didn't do as they indicated they would. While there was a refrigerator, there was no microwave. The stale, smoke-laden air quality in the casino was a real downer. I did appreciate the lack of the oppressive resort fee so many LV properties choose to impose.

Rooms are nice. Hotel is located in Henderson which is just outside of Vegas, takes at least 15 minutes to drive to strip. Casino is nice, lots of machines to choose from. I only ate the food in the café which is fair.

I was a little leary about going to Eastside Cannery as my family is a devoted Sam's Town group. I chose Eastside because the prices were better than S's this time around. Was I surprised! The staff was amazing and extremely friendly. I was instantly impressed when I pulled into valet and Brian was right there to greet me. Honestly the best, most knowledgeable and kindest valet in Vegas, and I've pretty much tried them all. Everyone from the front desk, to the coffee shop and even Chris the Pit Boss was great, and the room was far beyond what i was expecting for the price. It was like walking into a 4 star hotel on a half star budget. I was extremely impressed with my whole experience. I will definately stay there again. And when you go, tell Brian in Valet, Molly sent you!
