Rated 5 out of 5 by Todd21 Great Room and Value because of No Resort
Clean large rooms with fridge. No resort fees for add on costs to bill. Billing for things most guest don't want is bad business...two thumbs up to Eastside Cannery

I had been here once before but a while back & it is still the same as before actually better, I felt more relaxed because it wasn't as crowded as I thought it would have been due to it being a long holiday weekend. The room was very clean & nice, just as the website shows it, unlike other hotels we've stayed in show one thing & when we get there it's not anything as shown on their website. I only have one thing to say about the eating options we went to the buffet for brunch we were expecting it to be good it could've been a little better, not too many things to choose from the chicken had a taste of fish, other then that it was clean & pleasant environment to eat in.

Rated 4 out of 5 by DJHardy Nice Room
We loved our room, it was big and stylish. The bartenders at the Pinups were awesome (graveyard shift). My only complaint is that if housekeeping reported some very minor plumbing issues to maintenance it would keep the place in tip top shape. The bathroom faucet needed a new valve stem and is leaking. The hard water corrosion was so bad it was hard for me to turn it on and off.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BudieFrontier Great choice for off-the-strip savings
Well maintained hotel. Mellow crowd. Double queen room spacious and clean. Small fridge in room. Pillows were horrible. 1 matress out of 2 was in poor condition; made the kids sleep on that one after the first night! A/c worked well. Smoke detetctor in hallway (?) started beeping in the middle of first night. Pool was big, but only 3 1/2 ft deep. Nice pool area with cabanas for shade. Hotel did not enforce swim diaper on nude child, even after call to front desk ("we'll send security to make a sweep," which never happened). Parking was plentiful and well lit. Plenty of nearby businesses for eating, shopping, etc. Drive time to strip approx 15 minutes. 1/2 hour or so to Hoover Dam.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SethM Nice place to stay for what you pay.
Cannery is a no frills locals spot, the rooms are clean and in good condition. The floor of the casino is mellow and not very crowded. Prices for rooms was very good especially considering they do not charge a ridiculous "resort fee". The rate you see is what you pay plus taxes of course. The couple downsides to this hotel that we experienced is that they were all sold out of non smoking rooms by 5:00 on a Friday evening. Not too big a deal but nonetheless, staying in a smoking room was annoying. Also not enough towels in the room. And the distance to the strip was about a 15 min drive. Other than those things. The hotel was nice, staff was friendly and property was clean.

First time to stay here. We do not spend a lot of time in a room when in Vegas, not what we go for. We appreciated a nice accommodations for a reasonable price. We were impressed, spacious room with a small refrigerator, separate dressing area more that what we expected. Very comfortable bed, thicker mattress than usual. Only negative was no in room safe. Yes we will definitely add the Eastside Cannery to the places to stay when visiting Vegas. Did not use the pool.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Mcheng not much going on here
there was one great person behind the desk (Orlando); other than that, the service is apathetic. The casino is standard. the room is large but that's the best i can say about it. The thin walls and the 20 year old TV in the room sums it up; it's a cheap hotel. The problem is it's more expensive than many other hotels in vegas. Gave the pool 5/5 because no one was using it when we got there.

In the past I've always liked the rooms but unfortunately this trip we got a room with a bed about 1 year late in being retired. I hate it when you're down in a sag or rolling to the side because of a mattress that has seen better days. My Wife loves the deep soak tub that comes with the rooms and I love the Lobster Bisque on their restaurants( The Carve) menu, so we'll try again and hope this stay was an exception and not the rule. Unfortunately it appears this casino does not have a smoke free section otherwise I would gamble more there.
