I read all of the reviews and I chose to come to Charlies. At first glance, it seems to be a reasonable hotel with a friendly staff.
That is until you get to your room. It is a clean room but all is old and it has seen better days. The photos are not (Are NOT) what the rooms look like. But they are clean.
I was not able to connect to the WiFi in the hotel and to be fair to the staff, they did as much as they could. However, the computer system they use is extremely old and antiquated. Furthermore, Charlie's use Cox communications to provideWiFi and support but, not even Cox know the hotel well enough to take support calls before they verify if Cox provides support for Charlie's. I made a total of 12 calls in 3 days. Keep this in mind.
While I waited for the maintenance guy to come to my room to fix my WiFi (Right, what could the poor maintenance guy could do. Nothing other than to being in front of an angry guest, which I was not to him. I felt for him as he is not responsible, management is) but while I waited, I open the door to my room and turn around to talk with my kids. A security staff showed up and told me to close my door as the hotel is VERY DANGEROUS and not to have my door open for ANY reason or else the HOTEL was not going to be responsible if something were to happen.
I really did not felt that level of threat in the hotel, but for a security person to say that! My kids hear this guy comment and they both were very concern.
I will not recommend this hotel and I do hope your stay is a lot better and smoother than mine.
And if management of the hotel read this post. Really do tell your employees especially your security people to be mindful when then make comments such as those on security.
I do commend the rest of your staff, but for pet's sake upgrade your computer system and empower your staff with tools to solve your guest issues.

When we check out of our room my cell phone charger plugged into the outlet Behind the Chair. I realized I had left my charger a few hours later so I called the hotel. I was told that it had not been turned in by housekeeping was told to call back the next day to give them a chance to turn it in. I I called again the following day and was told that no charger had been I found Buy housekeeping. I know that I left it in my room; unfortunately, no one was honest enough to return it to me. So now someone else is enjoying my Verizon quick phone charger and I have to buy another one.

Very good location. Easy to get around and very good food. Was able to park close to room location. Room was spotless. Casino wasn't full of smoke like others. Would definitely recommend and book again.

The rooms are very nice and clean. They included a hair dryer and iron if you need them. The wi-fi did not work. A nice size TV, comfy bed and the shower warms up fast.They do charge your credit card for the $35 up front and then return it when you leave. I did not use the casino, but it was pretty big and had a lot of machines. I did not see the pool, so I can not review it.

We were in Las Vegas for an appointment, The room was close to parking, close to the Casino rear door, the Restaurant was reasonable and the Food good.

Good food for the money, friendly staff, really want you to return. NO resort fee! Just a great option to save money and party where locals do and for this tourist i am coming back! Thank you for everything!!

The front desk gave us excellent service since Vegas.com sent them the wrong date for our stay. Rooms need updating and cleaned thoroughly. We asked for 3 washcloths on two occasions since there were 3 of us but never got them. The size of the room was great.
