Walking into The Venetian's main pool area on the fourth floor is like entering a maze -- the path zigs and zags through neatly trimmed bushes and other foliage before hitting its vibrant center. The contemporary design scheme makes it a favorite spot for special events and The Venetian's pool area may be the most recognized in Vegas -- it's often used to film commercials.
Not only are there three pools and one hot tub, but this is also a great spot for creature comforts. Each cabana features a flat-screen TV, a DVD player, a safe, chic furnishings, a fully stocked fridge and an air conditioning and heating unit.
There's a restaurant called Riva run by Wolfgang Puck. It offers a hors d'oeuvres, gourmet burgers, salads, pizza and sandwiches. And you can make appointments for a poolside massage through Canyon Ranch SpaClub.
Guests staying in The Venetian's more exclusive Venezia Tower are treated to their own pool modeled after a Venetian garden. Here the two swimming pools are surrounded by two spas, ornate gazebos and topiary that create a Venice garden under the Las Vegas sun.
During the late spring and summer months from 11 a.m. to sunset, the pool that's part of TAO Nightclub hosts TAO Beach.
