**Whoops! It looks like this bar got a little too carried away with its champagne showers and ran out. Since it's closed, check out our other awesome Las Vegas bars where you can grab a drink.**
The most you know about champagne is that professional sports teams spray it all over themselves when they win a championship game. Maybe you've even picked up a "fancy" $10 bottle of the stuff to celebrate New Year's Eve a couple of years ago.
We get it, champagne isn't for everyone -- or at least that's what you thought before dropping by Laguna Champagne Bar. Finally, there is a place you can try out champagne where you don't have to eat caviar for breakfast and wear a sweater over your shoulders (although that's perfectly OK, we guess).
If you've never sampled this French specialty, don't worry. Every bartender and server at Laguna is highly educated in all the different types of champagne served here. Laguna also makes champagne more approachable for the average person with champagne cocktails. These concoctions mostly contain a lot of ingredients you aren't familiar with, like elderflower liqueur, but trust us when we say they are surprisingly good.
The cocktails have become so popular that actress Lindsay Price (of "Lipstick Jungle" and "Club Dread") made an appearance for the grand opening of the bar and has since raved about her new favorite drink, "Flower Eclipse," to anyone who will listen including InStyle Magazine. If you find yourself in love with a certain champagne, there are also magnum bottles available.
And because this is one of the "regular" casino bars, there's also a wide range of spirits and beer available if you aren't daring enough to step out of your comfort zone. But if there ever were a place to try something new, this is it. Just leave your goggles at home, though, because there will be no champagne spraying here -- even if your buddy just hit it big at the tables.
