If you take away two things from your trip to Dick's Last Resort, the other will probably be a giant, white, paper hat with something witty and/or almost vulgar and/or embarrassing scrawled across the front -- a not-very-typical souvenir from a not-very-typical bar.
At Dick's, you won't be coddled, or pandered to, or really even indulged with a whole lot of pleasantries. You might be insulted, you might not realize it and you might have your entire party laughing at your expense, but it'll totally be worth it.
Basically, with a night at Dick's, you're signing up for some good food (definitely a step up from normal bar fare), ridiculous (in a good way) drinks and an experience.
The staff at Dick's is well-versed in making things just a little hilariously uncomfortable, whether it's outfitting you with a hat or making a wisecrack about your mother, they seem to always walk that line between taboo and the hardest you've laughed in weeks. They're pretty good about taking requests, too, in case you spot an ex-boyfriend in need of some embarrassment across the bar, but remember -- what goes around comes around and you probably won't get out of there scot-free either.
Dick's might not be the best place for your grandma (unless your grandma's pretty cool, in which case - come on down), but it is a good place for a low-effort night out (no dress code) or a great place to break up the monotony of the week and it's definitely a place to let loose. Just don't be a, you know, jerk about it.
