Easter is the one time of year where it’s actually okay to dress like a bunny. Scratch that, we’ve had too many mimosas and we’re starting to mix up our holidays. Take two: bring on the bottomless mimosas and a great brunch menu. Easter gives you the best excuse to brunch, not that we need one, but it helps. So hop on over to your favorite spot and start drinking the day away - and if you’re lucky - the Easter Bunny will grace you with his presence. You might not get to sit on his lap like Santa Clause, but you can totally give your friends the bunny ears in your photo op. Who knows, maybe after a few mimosas, you’ll start to see eggs and have your own hunt. If you do, we’re inviting ourselves because that sounds like a great time.
Capital Grille
It’s time for all of your fasting efforts to pay off. You have been fasting with us, right?
Capital Grille inside Fashion Show Mall has really outdone themselves for Easter this year. The grille is offering an insane four-course prix-fixe menu for $49 per person. You’ll be walking out like a penguin instead of hopping off like a bunny. The decadent dishes offer an array of colorful flavors that will have your taste buds screaming for more. Start off w ith a light mushroom bisque or smoked salmon platter (yummm). Before jumping into the main course – after a healthy salad of course. The main event spotlights a NY Strip with fried egg perched on top, not your run of the mill shrimp and grits and a lobster frittata that melts in your mouth like ice cream on a hot summer day. And, if that wasn’t enough, it ends with desserts that will have your sweet tooth down for the count. There’s no going wrong with any of these menu items, so let the feast begin.
Oh, and before we slip into that food coma, we should remind you of the bottomless mimosas we guzzled. For $12, you can literally drink (or at least try to) all of the champagne you can handle. This is a classy joint, so don’t come looking for any champagne showers. Cheers to a brunch that the Easter Bunny would be proud of.
Northside Cafe & Chinese Kitchen
The best thing about Easter is sleeping in and getting down on a tasty meal. You can handle the sleeping in part on your own, so let Northside Café & Chinese Kitchen at SLS Las Vegas take care of that tasty meal part. For $24.95 per guest, you’ll be able to wolf down a three-course brunch that’ll offer some nice choices. For the main course you can get down on either a braised lamb shank, salmon hash or a prime rib. Brunch is going to be served from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. so make sure you don’t sleep in too late.
La Cave Wine & Food Hideaway
Butler-style service and “bottomless” cocktails?! We’ll take two, Jeeves. La Cave Wine & Food Hideaway at Wynn Las Vegas is basically challenging you to walk away from the brunch table right-side-up. We’re talkin’ solid portions of pancakes, loaded tater tots, NY-style egg sandwiches, had and egg flatbread, veal short rib hash and sooooo much more, all for $58.95 per adult. And if you want to see just how “bottomless” those cocktails are, an extra $28 bucks will do the trick. But it’s well worth it because you’re getting all-you-can-drink mimosas, sangria, sparkling wine, and a build-your-own mojitos station! Actually, can Jeeves send a wheelchair to the table? Getting up from after this one is going to be a doozie.
Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro
Do you have an odd tradition of taking pictures with the Easter Bunny? Well, consider the tradition continued! Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro at The Palazzo is holding its annual family brunch. The event includes prize-filled eggs and balloon animals. Kids eight and under eat F-R-E-E with an adult entre purchase from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jump in with the family on that Easter Bunny pic, you’re never too old. Or not… either way it’s cool with us.
HEXX Kitchen + Bar
You’re not going to want to miss out on the Easter menu at HEXX Kitchen + Bar inside the Paris Las Vegas. A special home-style, honey-glazed ham, potatoes, carrots and whole wheat Parker House rolls for $21.95. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, you’re in trouble. HEXX is offering crazy Easter baskets that start at $50. These baskets come loaded with HEXX’s signature bean-to-bar chocolates, plush bunnies, marshmallow kabobs, chocolate-covered eggs and mystery boxes with surprise treats. Did Willy Wonky have anything to do with this?! We’ll have to investigate after we finish stuffing our face.
House of Blues Las Vegas
Hallelujah, Praise the heavens! Add a little gospel to your life with Gospel Brunch at House of Blues Las Vegas inside Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The Easter brunch buffet menu is ever-evolving, but the star of the show here is the live, in-house gospel group. They’ll be belting out the classics and contemporary hits. Who hasn’t ever wanted a soundtrack to their life? And if you have kids, they’ll get hooked-up with an Easter basket loaded with prizes and candy, and the Easter Bunny will be around to take photos too! Because who needs to hunt for eggs when you already have a basket full of goodies? Tickets are $54.50 for adults and $27.50 for youngsters under 11.
High Roller
Who says you can’t get high on Easter? The world’s tallest observation wheel, the High Roller is hosting an in-cabin holiday chocolate tasting. The chocolates are being provided by Ethel M Chocolates (FYI, they’re the best chocolate shop in town), so you know it’s going to be legit. For $52 per person, you’re going to get a complimentary glass of wine and some of the best chocolates in the world. We know we said that before, but trust us, they’re the bomb. Tastings will run every Thursday through April 13th from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
