Smack dab between the busy center and south end of the Strip, Park MGM combines grand-style architecture with a calm and earthy attitude.
Lush color schemes paired with earthy elegance, Park MGM instills a sense of serenity with a smidge of European flair.
What we love
Park MGM, with the help of the Sydell Group, got a makeover and it’s totes different from anything you’ll see anywhere else on the Strip.
We are living for their self-check-in kiosks! As people living in the 21st century, it’s nice to see a hotel embrace technology with open arms. It’s like getting a good bear hug. This kiosk is hassle free and it eliminates the lines we all dread when checking in to a hotel. On average, it takes about three minutes to get everything you need: your room, your keys and a chance to purchase parking. And if you’re not tech savvy, they have someone there to assist you.
Another thing you’ll appreciate is the hotel’s prime location. Everything, including world-class entertainment at T-Mobile Arena and Park Theater, is walking distance. If you’re feeling lazy, the hotel has a free tram that takes you to ARIA, Bellagio, Vdara and The Shops at Crystals. So not only is it in a good location, it can take you to other famous locations on the Strip.
Last, but not least, Primrose. It’s the cutest little French-inspired restaurant that stole our hearts. They have a gorgeous outdoor patio and a stunning entry way that will inspire your inner home decorator. Besides the vanity, the food is something you must try for breakfast, brunch or lunch. It’s delicious and they have bottomless mimosas to get the day started off just right. Did someone say bottomless mimosas?! Count us in!
Good to know
So you know how we mentioned the hotel got a huge makeover? Well the makeover isn’t completely done. It’s like when you get liposuction, you look great after the surgery, but there’s still work a little to be done. Their spa hasn’t opened yet and they still have a few things coming down the pipeline. Be on the lookout for fabulous additions like Eataly market, Roy Choi’s restaurant and On The Record (their nightclub). Everything they’ve done so far is perfect, so we can’t wait for these.
For all the poker lovers out there, sorry. They don’t have a private poker room where you can smoke your cigars and have a clean scotch. They have the standard casino layout; slot machines, table games, etc.
And as for parking, it’s not free. But have no fear, this hotel is in the mid-range price category and they make it easy for you with the kiosks. The self-parking fees are: free for less than one hour, $9 for 1 to 2 hours, $12 for 2 to 4 hours, $15 for 4 to 24 hours. Valet fees: $16 for 0 to 2 hours, $18 for 2 to 4 hours, $24 for 4 to 24 hours. Parking fees repeat for each 24-hour period. The parking fee for registered hotel guests includes in-out privileges within the same parking type (self or valet) across all MGM Resorts hotels (subject to availability). click here for more parking fee details.
Park MGM paid close attention to detail, like real close. They added these subtle things to Juniper Cocktail Lounge, Bavette’s Steakhouse & Bar and Moneyline Sports Book that you’ll appreciate.
First off, Bavette’s. It’s not just the perfect place for a savory steak, they also have a speakeasy in the back. To get there, you basically have to walk straight into the back wall. And if you do hit your face, know you’re not alone. We did it too. Just kidding, there’s a hidden doorway you’ll see on your right.
After dinner, head to Juniper Cocktail Lounge for sweet libations. They have a fierce cocktail program that will have your jaw dropping. Order the “No Judgement” and see the top of your drink set ablaze. So to say their mixologists are “lit” is an understatement.
Oh, don’t think we forgot about Moneyline Sports Book after those fancy fire tricks. This is the best place to grab a quick meal for a super affordable price. If you’re trying to be a baller on a budget, you’ll achieve it here. But our all-time favorite feature this place offers is their weigh and pay menu. If you’re someone who doesn’t like big portions or leftovers, this is made for you. They weigh your food on a scale and you pay for it. This is the best way to grab just the right amount of food, without wasting.
