Not everyone visiting Sin City stays on the Las Vegas Strip. Maybe you're just stopping for a few nights on your whirlwind West Coast tour. Or maybe you just want something more relaxed and affordable.
Fiesta Henderson, located just 15 minutes southeast of the Strip at the intersection of the I-95 and 215 Beltway, is that affordably priced stopover for those passing through Vegas or for those who simply want to plan your Las Vegas vacation off the Strip.
And while Fiesta Henderson is certainly an ideal place to sleep for a night or two while en route to Laughlin, Phoenix or other destinations, it is also a good base to reach Vegas attractions on the southeast side of the valley with two malls -- The District at Green Valley Ranch and the Galleria at Sunset -- just minutes away and charming off-Strip attractions, like the Ethel M Chocolate Factory, the Wetlands Park and the Clark County Museum a short drive from the hotel.
There's also plenty to do inside the Fiesta Henderson. Not only will you stay in comfortable rooms and suites with an assortment of amenities including clock radios and hair dryers, but you can soak up the sun beside an outdoor pool and Jacuzzi during the summer months.
While you're inside during the winter months or when you're nursing a sunburn (Hey, it happens to the best of us!) you'll find that the Fiesta Henderson has all the options you'd expect from a Vegas hotel. There's plenty of ways to try your luck at the casino, a 300-seat bingo room, an eight-seat keno lounge and a 137-seat race and sports book with more than 90 individual monitors.
You may notice families with children at the Fiesta Henderson. Locals like the hotel because it offers plenty for families to do with a video arcade and the 12-screen movie theater. Plus there's affordable dining options as well as choices for mom and dad. For an upscale affair, Fuego Steakhouse serves a wide variety of items from bacon wrapped shrimp to succulent filet mignon all for an affordable price.
And while the hotel is in Henderson, it still boasts a Vegas buffet -- Festival Buffet -- and a food court (home to Starbucks, Fatburger, Subway and Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen).
While you won't find big-budget and pricey shows at the Fiesta Henderson, you can catch free live music Fridays and Saturdays in the Coco Lounge or just enjoy drinks and conversation at two casino bars -- the Coco Loco and the Sports Bar.
For a more relaxed, slower-paced stay away from the Strip and on the outskirts of Las Vegas, the budget-compatible Fiesta Henderson has all the necessary amenities.
