Top five hot spots to grab the bull by the horns  

Some of the biggest and baddest cowboys and cowgirls are in Las Vegas to celebrate the Professional Bull Riders World Finals taking place through Sunday, Oct. 24.  In honor of all the brave bull-riding enthusiasts and fans, set out to learn first-hand the techniques of tackling the sport by visiting some of Sin City's most popular bulls and places to celebrate the raw action and quality entertainment that makes up PBR.  Here are five top picks for guests to grab the bull by the horns, while also enjoying some of the city's best food and drink offerings.

Cadillac Ranch at Town Square

Gilley's inside TI

Skill Level: medium

Gilley's is known as the barbeque house that was made famous at the former New Frontier and features the best Texas-style cuisine in town.  The bull at Gilley's feels more like a real bull; the back and forth motion pushes guests to find a good balance.  Gilley's bull operates on hydraulic and is $5 per ride.  The beverage of choice at Gilley's is a shot of Jack Daniels. 

Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill inside Harrah's Las Vegas

Skill Level: medium

Toby Keith's features red, white and blue décor, sexy cowgirl-attired bartenders and of course, live country music from bands hand-picked by Keith. Guests can ride the electric bull for free; reviews the bull as a real 'arm jerker' and one that really bucks with power, causing a great amount of pull on the contestant's arm.  Guests are encouraged to try the signature Whiskey Girl cocktail to help heal the wounds. 

PBR Rock Bar & Grill inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino

Skill Level: advanced

PBR Rock Bar & Grill gets its name from the world-famous event and offers a great place to see all the action and hang with the pros.  The bull operator works on tips, and the crowd here is sure to provide support with an exciting environment. rates the hydraulic bull as a fighter for its tendencies to dip down, making it easy for riders to flip over the front if they aren't prepared for the angle.  PBR Rock Bar offers the signature Hat Bender to recover from the rough ride. 

Stoney's Rockin' Country

Skill Level: advanced

Located on the south end of Las Vegas Blvd., Stoney's is reputable among locals and tourists alike for being a place where country music fans can grab a drink, take a spin and hit the massive dance floor for some two-stepping.   Stoney's bull is also hydraulic and the operator works off tips.  Guests who are experts at bull-riding will have the time of their life on the realistic bull, not to mention a pumped crowd to cheer them on.  The beverage of choice to ease the pain is a shot of Jack Daniels.
