Rated 5 out of 5 by Porsche lots to see in a short time
We had a great tour guide, he was knowledgeable and very entertaining. Great ride and we were well taken care of. Would recommend this to anyone that wants to get a taste of LA without all the hassle of driving.

Where do I start? First, I booked this tour and received an email confirmation indicating that pickup would be at 6 am. At 5:45 am we received a call as if we were late. When we rushed down, the tour guide's demeanor was as if we ruined her entire schedule. Secondly, the 5 hour ride to LA going and 6 hours returning was miserable. Yes - it does get hot in Vegas, but it was about 80 degrees everywhere that we went and from the time we stepped in the van at 6 am, the a/c was on full blast. We kept asking the guide the turn the a/c down, and she would for a few minutes and would turn it right back up. I believe because of her own comfort, but other than one other person on the van, everyone else had on jackets and we had to end up buying a blanket at one of the stops. Also, the tour description indicated that you would see homes of stars, but that is not the case. The tour guide said that some ordinance prohibits the buses from traveling on certain streets, so I think they should update that. Lastly, upon returning to the hotel at 10 pm, the tour guide informed us that the dispatcher had left a voice mail indicating that we should have been downstairs at 5:45 am. I didn't even have the energy to explain that I did not have a voicemail message on my phone, which is the number that I put down when I registered when it asked for a number to be reached. When we got back to the hotel room, we saw that there was a message on the hotel phone. Seriously, who checks messages on a hotel phone while on vacation. If that was the case, I would have put down the hotel number to be reached. I will not use this company again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SimsPeaches Worth the money...Probably not!
The trip is ok, not enough time at either place. Our guide was FANTASTIC!! The information provided about the trip is not accurate and you spend most of the trip in the bus. In Santa Monica you are there for 1 hour only and 2 hours in Hollywood. For a 15 hour trip you would expect a little more time at your destinations. I personally would not spend the money on this trip but rent a car and make the drive myself.

by TerraLynn Good for a first time visit
We went on the Hollywood Tour. Marty was our tour guide and was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Upon being picked up at our hotel we received breakfast which included muffins, a granola bar, string cheese, nuts, and juice or water.
Once we got started to California Marty shared with us some interesting facts about the areas we were driving through and showed a movie about Nevada. There were ample stops for restroom breaks and to get out and stretch. Marty also put on another movie to entertain us until we got to Santa Monica.
Once at Santa Monica we were given an hour to walk around (it was not nearly enough time to get something to eat,) however it was more than enough time to walk along the pier and beach. Once back on the bus we were given our lunches to eat which included wraps (which were tasty), chips, fruit, and cookies and then we were off to Hollywood.
On the way to Hollywood Marty pointed out many interesting facts and places and we stopped and got out to take a picture with the Beverly Hills sign. Once in Hollywood we were given 2 hours to walk around which was ample time to walk most of the Walk of Fame and take pictures of the Hollywood Sign.
On the way out of the city we played TV\Movie Trivia, there were also stops on the way back to Vegas including 1at a McDonalds if we wanted to get something to eat and we also watched more movies.
Overall it was a fun way to see Hollywood for the first time, I do think it would be cool in the future if the tour offered some kind of soundstage or studio tour, or allowed a little longer in Hollywood so people could take a tour if the choose to.

Really would recommend this trip, our guide Marty was great, as was Skip who was, learning. Pick up time was bang on schedule, really pleasant driver, was really glad and chuffed we got breakfast wasn't expecting to that so that was a bonus. Good stops for loo breaks, very well planned for timings etc. Didn't feel like the drivingbwas as long as it was. Loved the pier, walk of fame etc, and Marty 's film music quiz was great. Definitely would recommend this to others

Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed15 The quality of this tour depends on which guide you get.
My father went on this tour and got to do way more than we got to. They stopped along Route 66 and were allowed to take pics. We simply drove by and he said "there it is, you can say you seen it." They also stopped at Rodeo Dr. and were allowed to walk around while we zipped right on through. You do drive thru Beverly Hills, but we didn't get to see anyone's houses like the description leads you to believe. We made an unnecessary stop going there which took time away from LA. My tour driver also said that he was glad we hurried back to the bus on the stops cause it makes for a quicker day. That was upsetting because I paid good money for this tour, a "quick day" was the least of my concern.
