Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful I didn't know what to expect, when I booked thins tour online. I must say it is the best tour ever. I got to see the desert, mountain and the great outdoors. The Snta Monica beach was true lay a sight ti see, not to mention the fresh caramel corn was very tasty. As for the stars and I didn't get to see anyone, but I did get to see my favorite stars star and ther imprints. I would recommend that when they call to confirm you make sure to go over your lunch to make sure they have the correct lunch for you...Other than that I had a wonderful time and the tour guide was excellent and very entertaining.. Rated 3 out of 5 by Not what I hoped I have to say I was a bit disappointed by this tour. First off it's a long drive there and back, you spend more time in the Van then you do in Hollywood and Santa Monica. Both stops were about an hour and 15 mins to an hour and a half each. I was under the impression when traveling through Beverly Hills you would see celebrities homes but in actuality the van is prohibited in going in the residental areas. You spend a whole 10 mins driving through Beverly Hills and you are done. Our guide was very knowledgable and friendly. I probably wouldn't recommend this tour.it was very long and misleading. Only being in vegas for 4 nights and 3 days that was a day I would have rather spent in vegas. August 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent service from our driver/tour guide We really enjoyed the whole tour but wish we had longer times at our stops. On that note, if we did stay longer then we would get back to Vegas much later. Overall, I give this tour an 10 :) August 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Tour Guide Our Tour Guide, Dennis, was very knowledgeable and extremely passionate. He was excited to share and educate our group about the Mojave Desert, the history of the area and Joshua trees. His experiences in Southern California and Nevada were entertaining and very enjoyable. The price was fair, the food was exactly what we expected. We had ample personal time to explore Downtown Hollywood and Santa Monica Pier. I would recommend this tour to any movie buffs, people interested in the history of Hollywood and Las Vegas or just for a wonderful day out. August 6, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Waste of time and money The tour was not good at all. The description said we would see things like death valley and the Joshua tree forrest on the way. If we saw them, the tour guide/driver never stopped and never told us. Redeo Drive was closed for a car show so we didn't even get to go there. You would think that a tour company would keep track of what is going on with the exact place they are advertising they are taking you. The microphone in the van was not working, so he couldn't use it and we couldn't hear very well during the very few times he spoke. We expected to see the homes of some of the stars, but as close as we got was our guide pointing to Hollywood Hills from a distance and saying that many stars live there. At the start of the trip, when my family of four got into the van and sat two and two together, one of us was asked to move up front alone so that the next couple could sit together. So, for four hours each way, my husband had to sit alone so that someone else wouldn't have to. That made no sense to us. The van was very uncomfortable, had improperly working seat belts, and cup holders that wouldn't hold a drink. If you put a drink in it, it would just fly out because the holders were worn out and would no longer grasp anything. This tour was very poorly executed and was a waste of time and money. Rated 5 out of 5 by OUTSTANDING FROM THE BEGINNING TO END, THE TOUR, TOUR GUIDE,THE COURTSEY AND ACOMMENDATIONS ALONG WITH LISTENING AS WELL SPEAKING WITH THE TOUR GUIDE. HOWEVER I WILL TELL YOU IT WAS THE HOLLYWOOD TOUR ON 05/07/2014, I PLAN TO DO ANOTHER TOUR AND WOULD RECOMMEND YOUR SERVICE TO ANYONE. THANKS,A.H.Y May 10, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Don't waste your money! Random comments.....description says "eat at Bubba's", which our tour guide discouraged us from doing because "people have been known to get ill, and besides you have one hour and some odd minutes and the bus will leave without you". Too too hot to walk in the sand. Rodeo drive consisted of a drive-through, no stop...guide said it was too expensive anyway...I would have liked the experience of looking at a price tag myself! Beverly Hills consisted of a stop at a "Beverly Hills" sign and a drive-by. Apparently our tour vehicle weighed too much so we couldn't even drive down streets to view any stars' homes.....just a comment like "so and so lives down that street". The walk of fame was interesting. The Jimmy Kimmel show was taping short segments and were told "not to even think of it", "no time" "only 1 1/2 hours on this street". The best is yet to come! Halfway through the long trek home, our van broke down in the Mohabi Desert, first the air conditioning stopped working, the electric windows wouldn't go down and eventually we came to a hault in a remote area off of the highway. We spent over 2 hours there in the dark with the doors open. All said and done, it was not the fault of the tour guides, but we felt we should have been compensated in some way for our inconvenience and discomfort. The trip is not worth the 18 hours spent on it. May 8, 2014
