Rated 5 out of 5 A great experience
Took the family out for one last summer trip and thought to start the weekend out with the Vegas Nights tour. I had been looking at different sites and after much researching Vegas.com seemed reasonable and was decently priced. Definitely book ahead of time, I booked with Vegas.com Tuesday for a Friday night flight and there weren't many left in all of town. Also, the tour was Maverick, which I don't think it says on the booking page.
The car was to pick us up at the hotel at 7:40, we walked down at 7:30 and the car was already there!
We arrived at the airport where we were offered champagne and waited while everyone arrived. The waiting area is nice and staff is friendly. We were given a piece of paper and told to read the rules....don't walk to the back of copter, don't open door, don't unbuckle your seat belt and put your phone on airplane mode. Oh, they weigh you and all of your belongings! No taking off shoes, they want to know exactly the weight. ok, seems reasonable. We waited about 20 minutes and just as my nerves couldn't take anymore, our pilot called our family of 4 and one single rider to board!
The company took the opportunity to snap a picture of our groups before boarding to sell to us when we arrived back at the airport (yay)
Our pilot gave us a little tour of the helicopter, told us how to use the seat belt and put the headphones on (so excited!)
Then we boarded! There are 3 seats (plus pilot) in front and 3 in back...We were given the front 3, since husband rode once before I sat in front with our 2 sons and husband got the back row. Single rider was in the far left seat behind pilot (its def the best view in the back).
Once we boarded there was a few minutes that all the helicopters were taking off and we kind of hovered, so it actually calmed my nerves (that and the champagne). We took off slowly and after a few turns we were up! I read others complaints about only seeing strip on left side....oh, but you can see EVERYTHING we saw people's pools lit up, the skyline, there is so much to take in and enjoy the beauty of the night-line. It was just like nothing else. So free.
12 minutes definitely seemed like more than enough our first trip when booking but we could have stayed up there forever.
We returned to the airport and like that, the pilot perfectly lowered us onto a little circle parking space and it was over.
We walked in to purchase our picture and right out to the car that took us back to the hotel. and like that, it became an amazing family memory.
I highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sydni Great way to see Veags
The new helicopter was clean, smooth, and roomy. The pilot and staff were great, and the shuttle to/from airport was nice as well. The flight was spectacular, especially since went at night.
Only minor drawback was waiting on groups to be ready (they picked up groups in multiple shuttles, signed us all in, then we went to 6 helicopters at once). That took about 30 minutes longer than if they went in waves as an aircraft's worth of people were ready.

Awesome reveal of Las Vegas from a bird's eye view. Exciting ride down the strip of Vegas at night in all it's glory. With bright flashing lights and the latest LED signs glowing with modern technology. Flying threw and around the mega tall and massive sized hotels and casinos. Maverick helicopters provided a professional tour guide experience throughout the event !

Rated 1 out of 5 by Texo224 short flight only visible from left side of helicopter
The flights are short and very restricted with the proximity to the airport. Fair enough, but I was sitting in the far fight seat in the back of the copter. Flew by the Stratosphere on the left then went around it with the stratosphere on the left again.Get a seat on the left side of the copter otherwise you are wasting your money.

Don't get me wrong! The ride was a great experience! First time for both hubby and I.
The reason I was disappointed is because the first trip down the strip I had to respectfully and unsuccessfully lean over 2 people to TRY & look down to the Vegas strip. I didn't get to see down at all. So I thought "Ok on the way back, I can view it from my side!" Wrong. I still attempted to look over 2 people.
The price was great, but not when you can't enjoy it and actually see the "Vegas lights."
They picked us up from the hotel on time. The courtesy call ahead of time was a plus and appreciated.
The customer Service there was friendly and professional. The pilot was awesome.
Still wish I could've seen what I paid for. :(
