Highly recommended ATV Tour We did an ATV Tour on a previous trip to Vegas which the Eldorado Canyon ATV Tour put to shame. We started the tour in an old mining town called Techaticcup, population 11 people and felt like we were transported back to the mid 1800's. We then hopped on the ATV's and took a very adventurous tour of the Eldorado Canyon. There were a lot of obstacles and a pit stop for some shade and a cool drinks before heading back to Techaticcup for a nice "Subway" boxed lunch. The tour didn't end there. We then had the opportunity to go deep into an abandoned gold mine. Our ATV tour guide, Kevin, was extremely pleasant and very knowledgeable about the history of Techaticcup and the Eldorado Canyon and gold mine. What a fun day! May 2, 2013
This was a excellent tour and was everything promised! This tour is highly recommended. It was everything it said it would be. We rode around 18 miles in the desert. The tour guide was excellent. This was my first time riding and I enjoyed it. The lunch was o.k. but, the gold mine tour was great also. I would do it again! February 10, 2013
Really fun activity! Initially I thought this package was a bit pricey but was out of new ideas for this trip. We were picked up by what looked to be a real cowboy from one of those John Wayne movies. The dude is for real! He's no actor playing a role...he was just born in the wrong century. His name is even Buckshot from when he was a kid! Anyway, he was very personable and highly knowledgeable about the old mining days of Nevada. The mine tour was super interesting and the ATV adventure was a real work out. Your clothes get super dusty so dress accordingly. The whole trip took like half the day so we definitely got our money's worth. Thank you Buckshot! My brother and I had a really good time!
