Great tour Our tour guide was Troy. What a great experience. We were able to be everywhere on time and with great information to enjoy it with. He was super knowledgeable about not only what we were seeing but everything around us and the history of it. It was a very wonderful piece of the vacation and I would recommend it again. Tour is great . We had a fantastic tour guide and the trip into the dam was great. The cruise on the Desert Princess was a highlight of our trip to Vegas. Perfect day trip from Vegas We absolutely loved this tour. The Hoover Dam is something you have to see for yourself. No picture or video does this amazing structure justice. The history behind the construction is truly unbelievable. Then, the Lake Mead lunch cruise on the Desert Princess was pretty fantastic as well. The views are simply stunning. Great tour Leo was a fantastic guide.!!We had a small group and were able to take a van. He was able with extra time to take us to the vegas sign and give us tips on vegas shows and restaurants. The trip itself was great too :) we were back in plenty of time to get to get ready for the evening. April 29, 2013

For the cost, not worth it. We were picked up at 7:30 from hotel, but had to go around to several other hotels and had to wait on other tourists. At Hoover Dam, we went down an elevator, went into one room (turbines) and heard a few facts about the function of the dam. The rest of the tour was self guided. Heard more Dam facts on the Lake Mead Boat. The Lake Mead boat was nice, but it was a lunch cruise and there were not enough seats for everyone to sit and eat their lunch, which was basically a sub and chips. If you wanted a mixed drink, you had to wait in a line that lasted the whole trip to and from the dam. The prerecorded message was informative. The paint pots were never mentioned and as far as I know, we did not see them. The tour guide and the driver were very nice and informative. April 27, 2013

Wonderful day trip! Owen was our tour guide and was wonderfully knowledgeable about Vegas, the Hoover Dam and the area! He brought good depth to the tour! The Hoover Dam internal tour was a little dissappointing but our time on our own was good- so cool to see if you've never been before!! The Lake Meade Cruise was nice as long as the weather is wonderful! Food was OK but again, the cruise was very relaxing! Chocolate factory just a quick bonus stop for some very good chocolate although a little overpriced! Overall a wonderful day and I would recommend it!! April 22, 2013
