Excellent day at the Dam! We were picked up on time. The ride out was pleasant and we were even told about some geography as we drove to the Dam. We were given ample time to view the Dam and take the tour. We also drove to the other side by the Memorial Bridge to walk up and take pictures. A great day and a wonderful way to get there since we didn't have to think about rentals, directions or parking. I would recommend this to anyone!! March 7, 2013
Took too long! It took us 2.5 hours to even get to Hoover Dam and we were 25 minutes away! We were at Hoover Dam for perhaps 1 hour and 15 minutes. We were picked up at 11:30am and didn't get back until about 5:30! That is way too long for a tour that takes one hour. I recommend renting your own car and going so you don't waste your vacation time! Plus they don't provide lunch. We got crackers and water...really? Don't waste your money...seriously! Everyone in our SUV was very frustrated. Our tour guide was nice but she talked way too much and was kind of annoying. March 6, 2013
Great tour experience! Charlene Cruze provided my son Clay and I with a wonderful experience of a first time visit of Hoover Dam. Such a pleasant and thoroughly knowledgable tour guide of not only Hoover Dam but of Vegas and surrounding suburbs/towns. We so enjoyed the relaxing, comfortable ride and all the conversation! disappointing The driver was rude. We had originally ordered a 7 passenger van. The van arrived was for 15. Driver immediately told us to go to the back of bus eventhough we were the largest and first on bus. Driver wanted to divert bus 40 minutes on way home to drop 2 passengers off on a river execursion. Best tour guide ever !! Our tour wasnt due to pick us up until 12:15 PM but we received 2 calls - one to our room and one to my cell phone the night before. We were advised that pickup would be at 11:30. This was great as we could plan our morning accordingly and not miss the bus. We had a tour guide - Charlene - who grew up in Las Vegas and gave us so much more information that we would have ever received from a pre recorded tour speech that seems to be the norm these days. The tour was the perfect length and not boring at all. We had a guided tour through the Hoover Dam and then had plenty of time to take photos and tour around a bit ourselves. Well worth the Money !! The VIP Tour was relaxing, interesting and educational. Our tour guide, Bill, was informed and held our interest every minute we were in his company. The tour of Boulder City was just as interesting as the tour of Hoover Dam. It's been 35 years since we visited the dam but this time we went on the tour inside - and, yes, we bought the pictures. Bill picked us up at the door of the hotel and he was right on time. Excellent service. June 1, 2012
