Awesome tour guide and views from the plane. I do not recommend the plane portion to those prone to motion sickness though.

We found the tour very well done, great service. Definetely recommended. We just suggest to change the music during the air tour. It was amazing the view of the grand canyon. We learned a lot of things during the tour!

Every aspect of this tour was excellent. Our tour guide, Adam, was the best, providing interesting info about the history of both Las Vegas and the Hoover Dam. He was quite informed and personable. The driver was very nice and drove well and the bus very comfortable. The flight over the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon was great and the views spectacular. The flight crew was very friendly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sue81 AMAZING! The air view of the Grand Canyon is unbelieveable
This was my husband & my first visit to Las Vegas, I would recommend this tour. We wanted to see both the Hoover Dam & Grand Canyon all in 1 day. We got picked up at the hotel, got a history lesson about the area on the way. We were given great instructions, all went well. GREAT tour. The flight over the Grand Canyon was well worth it. If you only plan on going there once, this is the tour! What an Adventure!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Heather147 The time at the Dam was great! There is time for the guide and time to look around, then move on. The veiw from the airplane was breathtaking!
There is just enough time on this tour to look and keep moving. The guide around the Dam was informative and the guide on the bus was able to answer questions also. The view from the air was gorgeous.

Tour looked promising from the start when we were picked up at our hotel in a nice shuttle bus with a very outgoing, entertaining, kind and fun tour guide. I think her name was Memo.
After arriving at the Dam, we were on our own to explore and follow their guides. We didn't have a lot of time to explore the entire place and the tour group here was very large. Too large. There was some interesting things learned from the tour, but it was the bare minimum compared to what I've seen from other sites and tours offered. Be forewarned - you cannot bring food or drink here, and what they have to offer at their cafeteria is poor quality fast food and snacks.
We were on another shuttle to the airport for the air tour of the Canyon. This shuttle was on it's last leg. It was rattling and old. Very noisy.
The air tour was a Huge Let Down. The Co Pilot was very personable and friendly and stood for photos prior to flight on what was a 12-14 seater. There was NO A/C ~ which is awful in summer months out in the desert!! I don't think there was any air circulation at all, for that matter. The pilot and co pilot made their welcome announcement and then we were directed to use headphones to listen to the tour. The headphones cranked out a pre-recorded "tour" of basic information abut the dam, the Colorado River and the Grand Canyon. It was not specific to the tour. And the tour was over some of the more bland areas to be seen. I could see a random helicopter here and there and kept thinking it would be better, as they got in closer to see more of the colored rocks and crevasses, etc. Much of what we saw was the more grey and brown sections with less interesting rock formations. And I would have liked to hear more about the villages down below. Learned nothing about them. They were out in the middle of no where with miles and miles before any stores or anything.
Gift shop at end had a few nice things.
Shuttle home was fairly new. Got us back quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Stephanie2009 Great tour - perfect!
Would absolutely recommend and was worth every penny! The tour guides were great at the Hoover Dam and the captain made sure we saw some spectactular views of the Canyon. Start to finish everything ran smoothly and my husband and I came away with some amazing photos and great memories. And a good way to see both sights if you have limited time in the Vegas area.
