by WAH55 Outstanding Tour that you must take!!!
The Rive Raft ride was spectacular with postcard quality scenery. This is a must trip when you visit Las Vegas. The wife and I are still talking about it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Roger1972 Great day out, relax and see the sights
I wasn't expecting the epic views of the Hoover Dam at the start, and the various historical sights along the way, but they were the icing on the cake. The great views came as less of a surprise, but had to be seen. A perfect antidote to the frenetic energy of the strip... If there was a negative point it was that it was impossible to escape the heat, but bring water and sun screen and avoid the height of summer and you will be fine.

After attempting to book directly with the float company, I ended up booking the river float trip through Vegas.com. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. They pick you up from your hotel on the strip and get you to where you need to be.....right near the Hoover Dam. The guide we had was Scott and we were so impressed with how much information he shared with us throughout the day. It was well over 100 degrees the day we went, but we were given hand towels to dip into the cold river water and put on the back of our necks to help stay cool. Be prepared to get splashed a bit as you float down the river but no one got really wet unless they chose to take a swim in the river when we beached for lunch. The raft is huge and very safe and stable. We had around 30 people and everyone had plenty of room. We saw wild big horn sheep and everywhere we looked was like looking at a postcard. Breathtakingly beautiful! Nice sack lunch and plenty of drinking water provided. We highly recommend the Black Canyon River Float.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ribee37 great trip
the only thing i did not like was that my hotel; the hacienda, was not in the group of hotels to be picked up at....i had to drive all the way into the vegas strip just to be taken back to the hacienda to board another bus to take me to the rafts...if this hotel had been on the list of hotels to be picked up at, or if someone could've said something, i could've stayed where i was at and then just gone from the hacienda to the rafts...it was very ironic to be taken back to the hotel in which i was staying....could've slept later and eaten breakfast instead of going to one of the hotels on the list....the hacienda needs to be included for future raft trips
