The Hibiscus Spa Review
The Hibiscus Spa at the Westin Casuarina defines the term "serenity," from the soft lighting throughout the complex to the delicately etched glass in the relaxation rooms. The intimate facility is decorated in soothing earth tones highlighted by dark wood, luxurious carpeting and hardwood floors.
One of the spa's unique features is a vichy shower room, used for rejuvenating scrubs and body wraps. There are 14 treatment rooms in all, three of which are specifically designed as aesthetician rooms and another designed for couples' massages with side-by-side massage tables.
Numerous facial treatments are offered at the Hibiscus Spa, but it the favorite is the Hydra Healing facial. This facial restores the natural suppleness of the skin with suppleness of the skin with superior exfoliation, deep cleansing and a comforting 12-point massage.
Massages last between 50 and 80 minutes long and include reflexology, shiatsu, deep tissue, craniosacral therapy and many others.
The most popular scrub at the spa is the Hibiscus Island Paradise which begins with a 25-minute papaya pineapple body scrub. Warm coconut milk is then poured over the entire body before the treatment concludes with a relaxing 50-minute massage.
The Hibiscus Spa provides separate facilities for men and women including saunas, steam rooms, showers, personal locker rooms and vanity areas.
Two relaxation rooms allow guests to enjoy coffee, tea, fruit, water and juice while listening to tranquil music or leisurely reading one of many magazines during their visit to the Hibiscus Spa.
After a full day of pampering, spa guests can then take advantage of a full range of salon services including manicures, pedicures, hair services, makeup and waxing.
Products used for the various spa treatments can also be purchased in the spa boutique. There are also additional beauty and skincare products as well as bathing suits.
Situated on the second floor, the 10,000-square-foot Hibiscus Spa can be accessed from a stairway located just off the casino floor.
