The service begins with an application of peppermint massage oil. The aromatic and healing properties in this blend ease your mind, body and spirit.  Based on ancient Chinese practices, the reflexology portion taps into your pressure points by increasing your circulation. You'll leave feeling brand new and refreshed -- your hands and feet will thank you. In addition, the peppermint and tea tree foot balm makes your feet baby soft. Make sure to tell your spa therapist which muscles to focus on for optimal results. For extra tight muscles, your therapist will even put apply a cool, soothing muscle rub gel after your treatment. Once your service is complete, your spa therapist will escort you to the spa's comforting relaxation lounge. Here you can lie back, stretch out and snuggle up with one of the super-soft fleece throws. Fall asleep to the tranquil music and the trickling sounds from the nearby waterfall fixture.

Located on the second floor of Vdara's boutique hotel, the sprawling 18,000-square-foot, two-level Spa & Salon Vdara offers a wide variety of massages, facials and body treatments. Focusing on holistic health, the body treatments incorporate the finest organic ingredients derived from herbs, flowers, fruits, vegetables and oils. 

The spa exudes a warm nature theme with its wooden floors and waterfall fixtures throughout the facility. The spa captures the spirit of nature without overdoing it. Instead of incorporating dim lights and dark colors, the spa features natural lighting with windows scattered throughout. The facility adds exquisite touches with fresh flowers and glass chandeliers. And with only 11 treatment rooms, the spa feels intimate.

The separate men's and women's relaxation lounges feature natural lighting and a nearby refreshment bar where guests can help themselves to snacks and beverages. Guests may also practice yoga in the relaxation lounge. Just a few steps away from the lounge, a wet spa is available past the shower and vanity areas. The vanity area includes Aveda products, as well as all the essential toiletries.  

For those traveling with a loved one, the co-ed area offers heated tile lounge chairs. All guests may request complimentary lavender neck pillows. After your service, you may also meet with your mate in the quiet relaxation lounge, which features comfortable reclining chairs complete with soft, furry blankets. Your therapist will also give you tea and beverage options for you to enjoy. 

Another fun feature at Spa & Salon Vdara is the champagne bar located in the lobby. If you're concerned about your diet and want tips on healthy eating, a nutritionist and dietician are also available. 

The full-service salon offers professional hair design, makeup artistry and luxurious spa manicures and pedicures.The salon even offers a vegan nail care line. Men's salon services are also available. 

For those who want to work up a sweat, the spa offers a fitness center featuring a variety of cardio equipment with personal entertainment centers, cardio machines and free weights. Spa guests may arrive early before their appointments to enjoy the sauna, eucalyptus steam room and hot plunges, available in separate men's and women's facilities. 

The spa boutique includes wellness books, bath and body products, cosmetics, apparel, hair care, skin care and deliciously-scented candles. For the environmentally-conscious, Spa & Salon Vdara is engaged in the global greening movement, creating a mission for social and environmental responsibility.
