The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Lake Las Vegas Review
The Ritz-Carlton Spa's personalized service, elegant surroundings and luxurious treatments offer guests the ultimate retreat from the stress of everyday life.
The 30,000-square-foot spa, located at the Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas, is Tuscan-inspired in design with marble flooring, terraces and a tranquil meditation garden.
Spa guests can begin their visit with a workout in the fitness center, which offers weights, treadmills, elliptical trainers and stationary cycles. The cardio machines come equipped with flat-screen TVs to keep you entertained while you sweat. There also are classes in yoga, spinning, stretching and more. A terrace located just off the fitness center hosts outdoor classes if the weather permits.
After a workout, it's time to be pampered, and this spa is the perfect place to do it.
In addition to its 24 treatment rooms, some with terraces overlooking the lake, the spa offers dry saunas, steam rooms and whirlpools.
Amenities include lockers, relaxation rooms, dressing rooms, vanity areas, water, fruit, sandals and some of the plushest robes and towels you'll find in a spa.
In addition to an extensive menu of massages, facials, wraps and scrubs, the spa's full-service salon provides hair, nail and makeup services.
If you're in the mood for a massage, don't miss the spa's signature massage, which uses a combination of techniques to relieve tension and improve circulation. The massage table is gently heated, and after the therapist is done working on the upper body, a warm blanket is placed on your back and shoulders to keep the muscles relaxed. After turning over onto your back, a heated neck rest is propped under your head and a soothing warm, scented wrap is placed over your eyes. The Signature Masssage is truly an incredibly comforting and relaxing experience.
If you're still up for activities after your day of unwinding, the spa staff can help you organize some unique outings around Lake Las Vegas such as mountain biking, hiking, stargazing, guided walks, fly fishing and water sports.
