The Spa at Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa Review

Located only minutes away from the gorgeous Red Rock Canyon, the spa at the Red Rock hotel is truly an oasis in the desert.

The ultra-hip, modern décor takes guests by surprise. With its cherry reds, black and white furnishings and silver fixtures throughout, the retreat looks like something straight out of a magazine. Through the red glass doors, the lobby features a towering architectural white grid and a shimmering crystal chandelier. A swirling staircase leads to a full-service salon below. In addition, rich red walls and sheer curtains add a modern flair.

The 30,000-square-foot spa holds 23 treatment rooms, including a treatment suite that appears to float on water. And while the separate men's and women's facilities are quite spacious, these areas still carry the same intimacy that smaller spas provide. Guests can either take a dip in the heated whirlpool or the refreshing cold plunge. The sauna and steam room are located nearby for easy access.

Both the men's and women's areas also include a sophisticated relaxation room. This secluded nook feels like a lounge with its dim red lighting and soft music. The red and black furnishings give it a sultry touch.

During the warmer months, the spa's private pool deck is perfect. Complete with a beachy atmosphere, a lap pool, lounge chairs, daybeds and cabanas, home seems a million miles away.

On top of the traditional services, the spa at Red Rock also features specialty massages like Ashiatsu, Thai, and Reiki. For a one-of-a-kind facial, the cucumber green tea facial helps calm and soothe severely dry skin affected by the environment.

The delicious Tropical Body Glow is not to be missed. After an exfoliating pure cane sugar treatment, enjoy a relaxing massage with invigorating tropical nut oils. While these scents seem too good to be true, it only gets better: Fiji, the product line used in this service, is actually edible. The coconut oil-based products are available for sale, so you can take the enticing flavors home with you.

And speaking of edibles, the food menu at the spa includes a wide variety of choices, offering everything from grilled chicken and fruit yogurt to Chicago-style hot dogs and burgers.

Spa patrons can access a fitness area equipped with cardio machines, weights and a movement studio.

Outdoor adventure spa packages make your stay even more enjoyable. These include horseback riding, hiking, rock climbing and biking at Red Rock Canyon, rafting at Black Canyon or kayaking at Lake Mead.

A blissful getaway for tourists and locals alike, the outdoor adventures, decadent spa treatments and overall ambience at the spa at Red Rock make it well worth the drive.

The retreat is located on the second floor of the hotel tower, next to the Tallulah G store. Since the spa is separate from the casino, guests don't have to walk through the noisy area after a service.
