Reminiscent of a tranquil garden, the spa at New York-New York delivers guests from the hustle-and-bustle of the city into a quaint atmosphere with unique, customized treatments.
Adorned with sepia-toned wood and slate in soothing green and soft gray colors, the spa truly brings in the energy of the outdoors. Mosaic tile, marble, exotic plants and the trickling fountain in the relaxation room add to the calming décor. The intimate spa has nine treatment rooms with a steam room and sauna in both the men's and women's areas. Men can enjoy the luxury of a whirlpool, while the ladies can sit back in a hydrotherapy tub with a fine selection of specialty bath treatments to choose from.
The state-of-the-art workout area features personal flat screen TVs above each cardio machine. Some weight stations have a view of the hotel pool. Complimentary water bottles, juice and fresh fruit are available throughout the facility.
Along with the intimate setting, guests feel at home with personalized attention. Treatments are customized to suit your special concerns. Can't decide if you want a Swedish, deep tissue or aromatherapy massage? Why not have all three with the The Customized Escape?
With this service, the therapist focuses on deep tissue pressure on your much-needed spots while applying the traditional Swedish massage application to other areas. Make sure to let the therapist know which trouble areas you'd like focus on the most. The invigorating aromatherapy scents not only entice the senses, but serve beneficial purposes as well. Choose scents like green tea (which promotes anti-aging benefits), lavender or chamomile (both soothe tired, stressed skin) or cucumber (which relieves dry, parched areas). Intense, yet amazingly relaxing, you'll appreciate the various elements of this service.
For a taste of royalty, the Soak and Glow makes the ladies feel like princesses. Guests can enjoy a 45-minute milk bath while experiencing a soothing facial at the same time. This service leaves behind glowing, touchable skin. Curtains are easily accessible for privacy.
For the ultimate pampering treatment, opt for the Long Island Getaway Scrub, which infuses pure cane sugar, coconut and macadamia nut oils to purify and cleanse. Finish off with a luxurious coconut milk bath. Or, start the evening on a glamorous note with The Night on Broadway, which offers the spa's signature facial, a calming manicure and even a makeup application at the salon.
Men may also opt for specialized treatments like the Executive's Decision, which includes a 50-minute massage, an IntelliGent's Facial and a Manly-Cure (men's manicure).
Loved the products your spa therapist used during your treatment? The bath soaks, lotion, body and face care products can all be purchased in the lobby.
The salon as well as the manicure and pedicure rooms are located across the hall from the facility.
The spa's earthy ambience immediately makes you at ease. With attentive service and cozy surroundings, it really does feels a lot like home.
