The Spa at The Monte Carlo Review

Refresh your face

For a fast facial fix, Monte Carlo offers the Cures by Avancé "Refreshed and Radiant" treatment.

This 25-minute service includes a deep-cleansing algae exfoliation that's not abrasive, so it's perfect for those with sensitive skin. The antioxidants purify and polish the complexion resulting in a clean, radiant appearance. The facial also includes vitamin C, which helps repair damaged skin cells.

The treatment ends with an eye cream application, minimizing lines and leaving this sensitive area soft and smooth.

This service is $70. For questions about the products used in this treatment, please contact the spa.

Although the spa at the Monte Carlo is small, it is comfortable and inviting and offers guests a variety of luxurious treatments.

The 13,037-square-foot spa features two facial rooms, five massage rooms for women and three massage rooms for men. There also is a hydrotherapy room for body wraps and scrubs.

The spa at Monte Carlo has separate men's and women's areas, which include cold plunges, hot tubs, steam rooms and saunas.

Other amenities include a relaxation lounge with fresh fruit and water, complimentary toiletries, lockers, safety deposit boxes, robes, sandals and T-shirts and shorts for the gym.

A 2,784-square-foot gym offers cardio equipment and weights. To stay entertained while working out, guests can plug in headphones to the equipment to listen to TVs.

The spa at Monte Carlo's most popular treatment is the Swedish massage, and the spa has an interesting take on the aromatherapy Swedish -- instead of oils, a special blend of herbs, flowers and spices is steeped in hot water and placed into a linen bag, which is then pressed on various parts of the body to induce relaxation.

The spa's specialty treatment is the champagne and caviar facial, which reduces fine lines through the use of cleansing, an enzyme peel and caviar/champagne mixtures.

The spa offers body and facial products available for sale, as well as workout clothing. An adjacent salon provides hair services, manicures, pedicures, waxing and makeup.
