Spa Mio Review
Stepping into Spa Mio is like a little dose of heaven on earth.
The 23,000-square-foot spa features stylish décor while staying true to its nature-inspired ambience. From shimmering chandeliers and wood accents to fresh flowers and purple furnishings, the interior exudes a modern, tranquil feel. The spa's waiting area and fitness facility feature natural lighting with a stunning view of the pool.
Spa Mio houses 16 treatment rooms, along with couple's area so you can enjoy your treatment together. In addition to an intimate relaxation lounge, the facility features a separate wet spa area for men and women. This includes a sauna, stream room and two hot plunges in front of a gorgeous waterfall fixture. Cool off with a refreshing rain shower, located in the same area.
Before or after your service, enjoy refreshments like fruit, tea, coffee and sparkling water. Spa attendants can also make fresh fruit smoothies. If you're crazy about bananas try Monkey Going Ape, which also adds the perfect hint of coconut.
For an all-out fruit experience at the spa, the Organic Facial is not to be missed. This facial uses organic tropical and orchard fruits to nourish the skin. Papaya enzymes remove dry cells, while a peach and apricot butter massage renews the skin. There are several other facials to choose from, including enhancements that can be added to the service. The spa therapist can assist in choosing which facial enhancement caters to your skin type.
A variety of massage and body treatments are also available. Be one with nature and try Spa Mio's Wild Flower and Earth Wrap.Your spa therapist applies a mineral-rich mud (straight from the Atlas Mountains) onto your entire body. Choose between a soothing rose and orange blossom wrap or a jasmine and mint wrap.The service ends with a shimmering copper or silver iridescent body dusting. You'll leave feeling rejuvenated and glamorous.
Spa Mio's full-service salon adds a bonus to the hair-washing experience: Each shampoo stations comes with a Shiatsu back massaging chair.
Spa and salon products are available for purchase in the reception area. To avoid trekking through the casino after a service, there is a parking lot conveniently located just outside the spa.
