The Spa at LVH - Las Vegas Hotel & Casino Review

The Spa at LVH - Las Vegas Hotel & Casino is part of the hotel's $18 million pool and recreation area.

If you want to escape from stress and relax for awhile, just take the elevator up to the third floor of the central tower and step out onto the deck where you'll find the pool, cabanas, tennis courts, fitness center and the spa.

The Spa at LVH pampers you from the moment you step inside. A spa attendant sees to your every need and helps you prepare for your treatment before directing you to a quiet relaxation room to wait for your therapist.

The men's and women's spa areas are completely separate and similar except the men's area features a cold plunge pool and a big-screen TV.

Both offer whirlpools, wet and dry saunas, a steam room and comfortable massage rooms.

Lockers, robes and sandals are provided, and the vanity areas are stocked with toiletries for guest use.

Guests also have access to a co-ed fitness center and to the tennis courts. Racquets are available for rental, and reservations aren't necessary. The spa also offers fitness classes and personal training.

Massage is the most popular treatment at the LVH spa, and guests can choose from Swedish, sports or stone therapies.

LVH spa offers a one-of-a-kind seaweed mud treatment, which can be done alone or as part of the Simplicity package along with a 55-minute massage.

Seaweed mud is applied to the back, neck and shoulders, and then the guest lies down on foil that reacts to the mud, heating it instantly. While the guest relaxes in a dim, quiet room, the mud starts bubbling and working its magic, detoxifying and providing pain relief. It's a great complement to a massage.

The Spa at LVH also offers a body scrub, body masque, paraffin treatments, waxing and a variety of facials.

Try the Desert Oasis facial to combat that dry desert air -- it includes cleansing, exfoliating and aromatherapy massage, plus a mask to hydrate and calm the skin. The facial also is followed by a firming eye treatment and paraffin for the feet and hands.

The spa offers four different luxurious packages and gives a $10 discount with any facial added to a package.
