- Average prices: $135 for women's haircut ($75 for men's haircut). Locals get a 20 percent discount Sunday through Thursday.

The Kim Vo Salon inside the Palms offers glamorous hair and make-up design in a chic, sophisticated atmosphere.
Kim Vo, one of the most sought after color experts in the world, has more than 20 years in the hair business as well as an exclusive salon in Beverly Hills. Celebrity clients include Britney Spears, Kate Hudson, Goldie Hawn, Katherine Heigl and Dakota Fanning, to name a few. In addition to his hit show on Bravo, "Shear Genius," he also appeared on E! Network's "The Daily 10," and "Extreme Makeover" on ABC.
Kim Vo describes his hair philosophy perfectly: "We're not going to change the world -- we're just going to enhance it."
Named "Best Blonder in the business" by Vogue magazine, Vo is perhaps best known for his balayage technique of coloring and as the creator of "the smudge," a 30-second hair color application. In this process, guests can actually witness the coloring process of their tresses, unlike the traditional method of foil bunches scrunched on top of the head. This delicate and detailed service allows stylists to exhibit their artistic flair by treating the client's hair like a canvas.
He also pioneered the use of vegetable-based hair color products long before "green" became the accepted norm. Vo was named the Blonding Ambassador for Schwarzkopf Professional and plans on featuring the brand’s luxurious color and therapeutic hair care products at the Palms.
Vo personally trained his colorists and stylists at the salon. Guests can book Vo's signature precision haircuts, the latest hair technology in treatments and color, hair extensions, makeup, spray tanning and exclusive nail services.
In addition, the salon features a Braid Luxe Lounge for fun, flirty braids and ponytails, as well as a Wig Bar, complete with an array of wigs that reflect the latest hair colors and cuts for the season. This way, guests have the opportunity to preview different looks before committing to them -- or just to have fun playing with different looks.
