Are you ready to treat your hair to Happy Hour? The Hairtinis at Kim Vo Salon are a tantalizing treat for your tresses. These
fun formulas are mixed by hand and presented to you in a cocktail glass. They smell so great, you might actually be tempted
to take a sip!
If you have parched, coarse hair, the Mojito Hairtini will transform your mane into a surprisingly soft and moisturized texture. Combining rum, avocado oil, lemon oil and a creamy conditioner, it will leave you with silky, touchable hair. To achieve the smoothest look possible, your stylist will seat you under one of the hair dryers to heat activate the conditioner before rinsing it out. Here you can relax and enjoy champagne, water or any other beverage of your choice. After your Hairtini experience, you may choose to complete your look with a glamorous blow dry and style. You'll receive celebrity treatment from one of Kim Vo's expert stylists and walk out feeling like a model in a magazine. |
The Kim Vo Salon inside the Mirage offers out-of-this-world hair and make-up design in a chic, sophisticated atmosphere.
With 17 years in the hair business, an exclusive salon in Beverly Hills, celebrity clients such as Kate Hudson, Goldie Hawn, Sylvester Stallone and Jenny McCarthy and guest appearances on E! Network's "The Daily 10," master colorist Kim Vo brings his enthusiasm and artistic expertise to Las Vegas.
Kim Vo describes his hair philosophy perfectly: "We're not going to change the world -- we're just going to enhance it."
The salon's clean, geometric lines, upbeat music, as well as the classy black, charcoal and white color scheme immediately deliver an ultra-trendy vibe. Sheer curtains separate each salon station, creating a more personal connection between the stylist and client. Guests can also people-watch through the floor-to-ceiling windows facing the Mirage shops.
One of the unique features this facility offers is the interactive Beauty Bar. Here, visitors can browse through more than 100 different hair color and shade charts. For those who transform from a dramatic brunette to a shocking platinum blond (or any other drastic change), Kim Vo Salon provides its clients with a variety of wigs to see if the desired look is worth the risk. The salon changes its wigs monthly to keep up with the latest hair colors and trends. Having trouble? One of the salon attendants can assist you with any hair coloring questions. With fun cocktail drinks also available, the Beauty Bar serves as the perfect place to mingle with girlfriends.
To take the ladies’ day to the fullest, the hair processing station offers one long couch instead of a row of single seats. This allows guests to carry on a conversation in a more relaxed and convenient setting.
And of course, men receiving barber services can have their share of bonding moments as well. With a huge flat screen television mounted on the wall in the separate barber area, this is the ideal place to catch up on the game while receiving a trim.
One of Kim Vo’s specialty treatments includes the “hair painting” technique, Balayage. In this process, guests can actually witness the coloring process of their tresses, unlike the traditional method of foil bunches scrunched on top of the head. This delicate and detailed service allows stylists to exhibit their artistic flair by treating the client's hair like a canvas.
If you’re not quite ready to dye your hair, you can opt for a Hairtini. Available in three different conditioning rinses including
Lemon Drop, Mojito and Champagne Rinse, each one is designed for your specific hair type.
Separated from the salon's high energy setting, the manicure and pedicure room exudes a more tranquil, soothing feel. Surrounded by plants and calm music, guests will find it quite easy to meditate within their surroundings.
The Kim Vo Salon is located just past the casino in the Mirage shopping mall area. The spa and salon are conveniently connected if you decide to book multiple services.
