The Spa at the Flamingo-Las Vegas Review
With a cozy, quiet atmosphere and personal attention often associated with "Old Las Vegas," the Spa at the Flamingo offers visitors a much needed respite from the chaos of the Strip.
A large exercise room greets spa visitors at the entryway, recently expanded to include a stretching area. The exercise room offers the latest workout equipment including free weights, resistance machines, treadmills and free-climbers. There are also several televisions located in the room.
The spa provides separate treatment areas for men and women, but the long list of amenities is the same regardless of gender. Although the facility may appear small, it has everything you could ask for - wet and dry saunas, eucalyptus steam rooms and tanning services. Each treatment area comes equipped with three whirlpools (hot, cold and room temperature) to satisfy every preference.
In addition, lockers, robes, sandals and vanity areas are also provided to make your visit as enjoyable as possible.
The spa's Restoration Package is the perfect indulgence for any guest, offering 100 minutes of treatment divided equally between the luxurious River Stone Massage and the Antiaging and Exfoliating Facial. The facial employs the use of an assortment of fruit extracts including cranberry, pumpkin and mandarin, leaving your skin glowing and rejuvenated. The River Stone Massage takes the art to a whole new level. Water heated stones of varying sizes are applied to key locations on the body. The combination of long, flowing strokes and direct heat increase circulation and bloodflow while soothing the muscles with both comfort and warmth.
Before and after your treatment, you are invited to visit the relaxation room and leisurely unwind while enjoying fresh fruit, water and an array of juices. There is even an assortment of reading materials at your disposal.
