Comedy with a sexy twist

So, your husband wants to go to a burlesque show and you want to go to a comedy show. As we all know, the husband usually gets the short end of the stick in this situation, but what if you could have both?

Sexy dancers and laugh out loud comedy collide at Sin City Comedy at the V Theatre inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood. A scantily-dressed dancer keeps the crowd warmed up as the always changing cast of performers amuses the crowd in a comedy show unlike anything you've ever seen.

For the patrons who come early, you will get a brief history lesson in pictures and film on one of the 10 TVs that make up the background of the stage. The scenes take you through a time when Vegas looked liked a Western film and when the Flamingo was nothing but a few palm trees. You'll also see several hilarious clips of old silent films that include such legends as Laurel and Hardy and Charlie Chaplin.

Sin City Comedy, which was named 2010's best comedy show by a local Las Vegas newspaper, has only two constants: the host, Penny Tha Prince, and the sexy burlesque dancers. The night starts off with a little of both as Penny fires up the crowd with a sampling of his many impersonations including Denzel Washington a la "Training Day" and Joe Pesci.

The normal burlesque dancer for the show is Dorimar, who is far from normal herself. Her sexy moves are sure to excite the crowd as she turns a coat rack into a stripper pole and works her way across the front row of the audience enticing the men in the crowd along the way.

While you may not recognize the names of the comedians at Sin City Comedy, you will recognize their work. Comedians appearing at Sin City Comedy have performed on "The Dave Chappelle Show," Comedy Central and Showtime specials.

The best part of all this is that your husband will be happy you "gave in" and compromised. You just didn't tell him about all the stores located next to the theatre that he's going to have to take you to after the show.
