Rated 2 out of 5 by DanB123 It's just a comedy club
Those that don't know, The Improv is a chain of comedy clubs and does not reflect the kind of comedy acts. I was expecting an improv act (like second city) but it was just standard observational standup.
The theater was undersold for a Friday night and the barn effect killed the mood. Only the headliner was able to squeeze laughs out of the dead crowd.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CSIPackerFan56 Enjoyed the small venue .. up close & personal
Overall, husband & I enjoyed the show, we were a bit disappointed in the female comic [she introduced the other 2 comics and did her own spiel], she just did too much off color jokes and she was very loud. The other 2 were very humorous and very audience participation. Very very enjoyable.

I had heard about improv and this was the first time I got to attend and it was fantastic. I wish it went on for a bit longer.
I wish all the comedians came together on stage at the end for a but of banter to end the night.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Marc68 George Wallace as a special guest
George Wallace made a cameo appearance at this show.
We had seen him two other times and loved his comedy.
This time was completely different. George voiced his personal agenda concerning current events on a national basis. We paid to see comedy not cop bashing and racial inequality. Just say NO to George Wallace. We were very disappointed and could see others in the audience were too.

This was like my 9th or 10th time to go this comedy show and it was my least favorite show. Just did not like the comedians this time, they were more crude and just not funny. I have always recommended this show to others, I hope this was just a one time blip downward on the show, for I like looking forward to going.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BC1970 drinks are crazy!!!
I saved 14.00 per ticket for the show through vegas.com and was impressed. The theatre is not big so every seat is a good seat. That being said, the drinks were all out crazy. We purchased 2 drinks, one Jack and Coke and one long island iced tea. They came in those plastic beer glasses and the bill was a whopping 23.00US!!!! Needless to say we did not order more and chose to wait til the show was over to get more on the casino floor for a dollar tip. Consequently this is where the waitresses went to get our drinks at a mark up of 21.00!!!!

The Improv is always worth the money. We try to go there every time we are in Las Vegas. The setting is small so you are right on stage with the comics. Would recommend the Improv to anyone who likes comics live!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by justwasntfunny Disappointed
The comedic talent was just not really up to snuff. Certainly some funny lines, but one comedian turned it into a contest to see how many different social and racial groups they could offend in a span of 15 minutes. Seriously, is this the only way to try to get a laugh any more? You aren't surprised if there's a few, but an entire act aimed at that?
The host and warm-up guy just wasn't funny at all. Not offensive, just not funny.
The headliner tried a shtick with a guitar with original songs that just wasn't that funny.
This wouldn't surprise me if this was a comedy club in a small town, but for something in Vegas that costs as much as this club does to get tix, you'd expect better.
