Good for thrill seekers so I'm not sure what the heck I was thinking. I'm scared of heights and did not love the ride. It would be awesome for people who are adventurous though. Good amount of time for the money and the view was amazing. Wouldn't go again but would recommended for the not so light hearted.

Rated 3 out of 5 by 1NonlySunShine Voo Doo Zip Line at the Rio in Las Vegas
The hubby tried the Voo Doo Zip Line a few weeks ago in Las Vegas. It is located on the 51st floor of the Rio so we had high expectations that'd it'd be fun/scary. Unfortunately it was disappointing. You're not really zip lining, you sit in a hoisted seat and it moves you across the way to another building's roof top, then the line pulls you back. The whole ride lasts maybe a minute to a minute and a half, and he wasn't even scared at all. The views are great though, especially at night. It's something that everyone should try at least once if you're ever visiting sin city, but it isn't something he'd necessarily do again.

Wow! What an amazing ride. The view from the top of the Rio is spectacular. This is definitely a must do for the thrill seekers. Incredible!

I've zip lined in various locations around the world, so I guess I had an idea in my mind of what this one might be like, without actually seeing it first and buying tickets ahead of time. Don't get me wrong it was a fun rush, and glad I did it, was kind of hoping it was maybe longer. But for those who have never zip lined before it is a secure first time.
I went with someone who never zip lined before and for them to have no worries about controlling any part of the ride, it was fun for them.

This is not a traditional zipline. You go foward from one building to another and then the machine retracts you. Not at all what I expected. Vegas.com states it lasts about30-45 minutes. Actually it lasts about 3 seconds. The picture equipment wasn't working properly when we were there so they couldn't get our initial picture at the top of the building which would have probably been beautiful but then the lady said she couldn't take our picture because it violates their policy because they want you to buy there's. but we couldn't because their thing was broken. Then there was not warning you couldn't wear glasses so if you wear glasses might want to put in contacts before you ride if you don't want everythingt to be a blur. But probably just better to skip out on it all together becasue its not worth it!! View was gorgeous from the top of the building so go up for the view and then skip the zipline.

The male employees were very nice and funny but the females seemed very distant and rude about things. When we first got there Brittany at the counter was unsure on what we were doing there until I explained I had already purchase the experience and wanted to redeem she didn't really explain where we were supposed to go or who to talk to. As we were walking to the front of the shop location another female pointed us the a door way, the female at the podium said take the elevator to the 51st floor in a short tone but fallowed up with have fun. Apon walking down the stairs no one pointed us in a direction until we asked then a short blonde female said go over there and that guy will tell you everything. The guy was hard to hear but kind enough to repeat himself, the two males that were harnessing you into the seat unit thing were very fun and uplifting the mood. After we were done the two females at the picture station where just standing talking to the male red head and ignoring myself and my friend along with the other 6 guest on the patio area. After asking about a photo the burnettenfemale bearly turned around to answer us and explained the cameras had been down all day so we would not be able to get a photo today and she went right back to her conversation about another employee to the other two employees. While we were on the patio we asked the red headed male if he could take a photo of us with out phones but he rudely answered that he couldn't do that and he went back to talking to the girls. Our time there was between 5:55 and 6:30 on Sunday sept 14th, we were also not given clear direction of where to exit until we accidentally almost walked into the restaurant and the brunette female snapped at us saying are you here for zip lining or the restaurant.. We clearly said we were unsure where the exit was and was just trying to leave she snapped back with you have to go out the way you came. I would recomend the experience to others just for the zip line experience but not for the employees costomer service skills.
