Rated 3 out of 5 by HeidiL I expected to see more sharks and fishes.
It is very convenient to book entrance tickets online first and get the tickets at the express counter. I was a bit confused that when I booked the tickets, I was requested to select a show time that made me thought the ticket was allowed to enter the aquarium with a show performance.
Besides, I expected that there was a huge aquarium with many different kinds of sharks and fishes. Actually, I was surprised that the aquarium was not big.
However, the staff was very nice to interact with the kids and families. I saw a few divers were diving in the aquarium, the kids were excited and waved to the divers with taking some photos.

The animals and the aquarium are cool. But it wasn't as good as I expected.

Rated 1 out of 5 by J2121 Not Worth a Dollar.
I have been wanting to see the Shark Reef for several years now but never actually had an opportunity to get to Mandalay Bay. The price of $18 is way too much. You will need to wait in line for approx 20-25 minutes & go up an escalator into another line. Once you enter the exhibit you'll see the komodo dragon & one other reptile. Then walk into a sunken pirate ship with reef sharks awaiting you. No spectacular nor exotic sharks to see. All in all, your walk through the exhibit will be less than 30minutes. Absolutley not wirth the money & definatley not the time to waste in Vegas.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Dakota88 Crabby workers- dirty windows
Have been to aquariums all over the US was excited to see the Shark Reef in Vegas. The first indication of a problem was the incredibly crabby ticket window person that was literally the rudest person we encountered in LasVegas. After going in we enjoyed petting the angel fish but unfortunately the glass on many of the large tanks was so finger printed and smeared the fish were hard to see. I did see a worker emptying garbage cans but they really needed a bottle of windex and roll of paper towels..

Rated 3 out of 5 by ChrisProph Neat creatures but almost did not make it in.
So after booking the tickets on vegas.com, went to the front desk and they had no record of our bookings. They finally let us in due to the fact we did happen to have a print out of our confirmation. The aquarium was okay, but quite small, and not that interactive. If it was half the cost it would be worth it, but for $20, I would recommend only people who are REALLY into marine life to visit.
